the questions being asked are too vague, i think u need to read up more on everything and just decide for urself, ur askin a question then answering it urself a few posts down so just do what i did, read forums and magazines or books for a few months, save money, learn alot and u’ll know exactly what u want, trust me. i didnt know shit a year ago and now i drive a jdm gsr swapped DA with a built head done by me and a turbo install done by me. hope this helps bye
ye true that…take a bit longer and more research than a thread to decide also riding in or driving each might help you
The questions aren’t too vague, you just have to take a minute to read into whats being asked
take that b16 out of your car and get a larger fuel pump (larger than 190) and get a GSR and turbo it, Tegcrazyness. you will be much happier.
the question is meant to be vague. Pretty much if you had a stock ls engine what would you do to it. I’m mainly just trying to get ideas. And those were the two I was pondering over for some time. Not trying to break any records really, just want more speed.
In my opinion your goals are vague.
If I am getting this right, you want a faster car so you can run it on the street? Asking people’s opinion on going for a VTEC application or a FI application is a rather general question.
If you are planning on running the streets with a beast, then I’d suggest a FI application. I am not saying you cannot run the streets with an all motor setup with VTEC, but it may cost you more to go all motor than it would FI. I’m not saying that an FI setup will be cheap.
You would have to work on the engine with your goals in mind as a complete system. You can’t leave a stone unturned. For instance, if you were to upgrade your exhaust system you may need to upgrade the cams as well. If you were to go for an FI setup you would need to keep in mind of changing to a suitable piston compression.
In summary: You want to go fast? VTEC or FI applications will get you there. Pick your poison :getsome:
just boost it nothing makes people happier than the first time they boost their cars…
