I am very happy with my setup. The car is quiet under 4000 rpms. 4000+ with Vtec, yeah you’ll hear the exhaust. Not buzzy, like I said, more like the ITR.
thats what the muffler shop i went to did also. they cut off my resonator and muffler. i wanted to take them and sell them. bought i thought u had to give it to them cuz the price was so low. but after they threw it away they said i could have it if i wanted to.
i have 2.25 mandrel bent piping with tanabe style muffler. this thing is loud as hell. but after i put on a chikara ts header it toned it down a bit and sounds better but still loud. i get headaches when i do a 20 minute drive to work on the freeway.
only problem, the piping isnt stainless steel and its been raining in central florida alot and there is a lot of construction by my house. are these pipes gonna last. is there anything i can spray on the pipes that can stand the heat?

you wanna silent exhaust… my buddy has a 95 civic with a H22A
and he has a custom made 4 to 1 header built for it, he’s had this combo for awhile, and he always had problems with loud exhaust, then i heard him the other day, and it maybe can be classified at a low rumle at the most!!!
it is by a company called rsr… i dunno if it was custom, but it is sweet…
i put stock intake back on, new filter and stock intake minus the resonator and its done wonders for the sound, its not as loud and its very smooth now

Most of the people on this board know what RSR is, some claim it to be the quietest exhaust availble for a G2 
My thermal catback is VERY quiet. Damn near stock sounding until WOT.
RS*R would be considered one of the quietest aftermarket exhaust out there… i dont know about the new one’s out… but the older ones are quiet. mine is silent, almost sounds stock, but with a rumble, until about 3200… then when it gets up, it roars, and it’s settle, not a buzzy rattle crackle pop sorta thing…

DC Sport and the RS*R are the quietest in my experience. I’ve had both, they sound almost exactly the same. The DC Sport is what I have now, it is as silent if not more at idle, and cruising on the highway it’s barely noticable. Only when you WOT the engine do you hear a growl. The growl is deep, none of that bee hum sound =) The exhaust is Stainless Steal, nice and shiny, looks great =) The tip is sweet too.

if there is a way around it, such as greddy is known to be quieter, it usually leads to not as much of a power gain. and that is not a problem i have with greddy or anything, after all I bought a greddy mx exhaust. i am willing to sacrifice a few hp at most for a better sound- I dont know if you are willing to or not but if you are greddy is what i would reccomend.
ok they sound great cuz their muffler section. 2.25 pipe is 2.25 pipe. so does anyone know where u can just buy a dc,greddy,rsr, muffler alone. so we dont have to buy $600 exhaust.
