I have a 90 DA With 100,000 miles on it. The compression is awesome. I have AEM fuel rail, AEM Pulleys, AEM Cam gears, DC header, Thermal Exhaust, DC intake, Moroso valve cover, OBX drag oil pan, ported and polished intake manifold, polished thottle body, MSD ignition with blaster coil, Accel 9mm wires, And I’m sure there’s some I’m missing. I want to add some NOS to this setup. The engine is in tip top running condtion. What would be the best setup? I dont want to add to much, Like a 50 Hp shot or something. Any advise would be great! Zex wet kit, best bang for the buck. If your real baller status you could opt for a NX direct port. But i would go for the Zex Wet kit.

Well it seems that you already made up your mind on the brand your going to buy (NOS). ITS NITROUS, NOT NOS!!! NOS is brand.
The only thing I would consider is a WET setup or direct port. I personally am running a direct port setup from Nitrous Express, it was fair cheap too from importperformance.com.
Do you have stock internals on your engine, with that direct port setup? And if so, How has the engine held up?
I had a Nitrous Express Direct kit on My Civic EK LS/VTEC, I ran a 75 shot in it and it held up really well, all it had in it was GSR pistons, and ARP Rod bolts, and some headwork. But i upgraded my fuel pump, pressure regulator, cam gears, and an MSD Ignition, i brought it to the dyno,they tweaked around with all of that and got 221 whp! and the powerband is sick its like an NA motor on steroids. but i could of bought a turbo kit for what i paid for all of that and bolted it to a stock LS and got 260-280whp. So its all about what you want.
If your on a budget buy a ZEX Wet kit, a walbro 255 lph fuel pump, and the Zex cold spark plugs and be done with it.

i run a nos wet kit and i love it ive sent 2 bottle though and the car is holding up well it has 164k on it.installation was pretty easy. thats just my 2 cents

wow smithtownm, I have fam there. I am from LI too. The walbro will solve any issues while running the dry shot. It is much safer than wet.
2 bottles? most people i know who spray go thru a bottle a week.

im a noob, so when the bottle runs out how much is the refill, and how many shots would u get out of a spray?
its like $5/lb at most places, i have seen it as cheap as $3.50 tho. search google for nitrous lbs per sec or somethin, it is differant depending on your shot. nos has in there instructions for one size jet… it says like “with a 100 shot you will get approx XX seconds of use from a 10 lbs bottle” it depends alot on bottle pressure tho. the hotter you get your nitrous the more use you can get from a bottle.
ouch here in texas nitrous is only $2.50 a lb…i guess because no one really uses it down here haha
at a gas depot or speed shop? i heard its like $2-2.50 at a gas depot… never went to one tho. closest one is airgas and i have no idea where they are. they deliver to alot of places around here.
