wearedaughters' 90 RS Build Timeline

here is one more, last one I promise (i’m bored)…I see so much color in the photos that I feel the desire to expose! lol

Haha, nice. That looks pretty cool.

Finally was able to wash it. Took the rack off to make sure I got it good and clean.

I’ve got access to a garage tonight so I might be doing the badge swap. :uhoh:

Well, I just put the stock Acura badges on…and…it’s definitely different. I’m not sure if I’ll leave it like this but I guess I’ll rock it for now.

I guess I’m in a nostalgic mood: I might put the stock wing back on tomorrow too. :hmm:

Well, I already took the Acura badges off. They weren’t in as good of condition as the Honda ones.

Here are two shit-ass pictures I took before I removed them and put the Honda emblems back on again. Not sure if I’ll leave the wing on. Might take it off again tomorrow.

Today I replaced the busted foglights, adjusted FITV, and ordered Koni Yellows/Ground Controls w/ top hats.

Tomorrow I might order tires and give the car a good washing.

Nice! You’ll definitely like those. What rates did you go with? I’m diggin your build man

Thanks. I just went with the basic rates since this is my daily. I may get some custom rate springs eventually.

For sure, that should do you nicely. I’ll be reinstalling (pulled from my wrecked DB1, and onto the new daily) my set-up, same as yours just with 425F/400R rates, this week hopefully so I’m getting ansy

Nice. I can’t wait for mine to get here. :tapfing:

The temperature here got up above 40* today so I washed the car. Unfortunately, it got filthy again as a result from the wet roadways caused by the melting snow.

I also ordered tires and a non-OEM nose mask today. I’m planning on getting “INTEGRA” embroidered on it at the sport shop I work at. DIY OEM hood bra.

Today I talked with the lady in charge of the embroidery department at work and I think I might be getting this thing made. I can’t find the exact ‘INTEGRA’ font, but I will most likely be using the font for the NSX: the same font used on this site.

Hopefully tomorrow I’ll find out for sure. If this turns out well I may do some floormats too. Right now I’m not quite sure what color I want to use. I doubt it will be white.

Haha, that’s real funny! I ordered a non-OEM hood mask yesterday as well. Which one did you get? I bought the Le-Bra custom hood protector $35 shipped

Pretty sure that’s the same one I got. $40 shipped for mine.

Classic! Well they say, great minds think alike!

I can’t speak for you, but I can be pretty retarded at times. :uhoh:

Tires came in yesterday. I just got back from mounting them tonight. Tomorrow maybe I’ll replace my warped Brembo rotors. :argh:

Update on the hood bra: The NSX font I gave her isn’t going to work. It wasn’t in the proper file ext. So, instead I had her send the original ‘INTEGRA’ font off to be digitized by an outside company which is going to cost me about $50. The good part about this is that it will always be on file so I can make as many as I want without having to pay the $50 again. I will hopefully have everything completed by the end of next week. I’ll post up the results.

Replaced the pads/rotors this weekend. No more steering wheel shake during high-speed braking.

Koni’s came in on Friday. Ground Controls should be here tomorrow.
