Hells YEA

Question on your GC/Konis.

  1. Did you cut the bumpstop provided with the tophats?

  2. Did you use both of the provided banjo nuts to fasten the tophat on the
    shaft, or only one?

I ask because I have the same setup, and not sure about those two things. Thanks.

I haven’t mounted the suspension yet. I’m about to do it now though.

The instructions provided included cutting the bumpstops. I have seen threads on here that confirm this as well. I’m not quite sure about the second question yet. I’ll let you know when I get everything mounted.

  1. Yes, and the instructions tell you how much to cut. I forget how much, but I’ll check when I get home
  2. I was able to use both nuts on my set-up

I just returned from mounting the new setup. First impressions are good. It handles quite nicely actually.

I noticed a problem on the drive home: I am now getting a thumping noise coming from the front pass. side now when I turn right. I guess I’ll have to check that out. :worry:

EDIT: Checked the nuts on the tophat of the strut in question and they were a bit loose. All of the others were fine. Hopefully this solves the problem. :cross:

I did take one picture.

This is with the front and rear up as high as they can go. Haha. I could probably lay frame with this setup if I wanted to.

I think the instructions are for using the stock bumpstops…

With the tophats, they give you new bumpstops, so do the new ones need to be cut too?

I cut mine.

What’s up homie?

The instructions are for the GC tophats I’m pretty sure. I have all four and mine are cut

Man that looks sweet. Do you have tophats at all four corners or only the front? Also did you install camber kit front and rear yet?

I just went through each and every post since you first got it as a yellow potato shooter, so I feel like I have to post a reply. Looks great man, I love the clean look and the b16 swap is always nice! It was b16 right? Anyways, I love this Teg! Keep it up (and put the spoiler back on) – lol. Just kidding. I’m with you on that. I like it with or with out. Depends on the angle you’re looking at her whether it looks better with or without it!

Blake

Not much man. Just trying to get this thing to where I want it. What’s new with you? We gonna hit up some meets this year?

Haha. I was thinking about waiting until spring rolled around. That idea lasted for about 6 hours!

Nope just got the two for the front. No camber kits yet. :uhoh:

Thanks dude! It certainly has changed a lot in the time I’ve had it. I should have just found a stock Integra, it would have made it much easier!

Yes, the engine is a B16.

I feel you on the spoiler thing. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t. I can always put it back on whenever I feel although I usually want to take it right back off almost immediately!

Indeed it would have been easier, but whats done is done and you have a beaut on your hands. And in the end, that is what really matters. I know its hard work, time consuming, and hurts the ole bank account, so I applaud you on it!

lol.

Well, at least its easy to put on and take off. I remember my least favorite thing about it was when I was drying my car off, I had to dry underneath and around it, and the corner of the spoiler would drip water and I’d have to keep whiping it off! I’m so anal when I wash my car, its ridiculous!

Oh my God! That drove me around the bend too! Haha!
