What are these on my intake manifold, and what should I do with them?

I have these two fuckers just hanging out. They obviously make vac leaks, and I would like to take care of it. What should I do, what did the other boosted teggers do?
Thanks guys

BTW, I am boosted, and those things are not attached to my intake, thats why I am asking :baby: .

I just dealt with these issues on Wednesday when I turbo’d my DA. Thanks to this piece of shit blown turbo it didn’t last very long.

Anyway, “fucker #1” I removed completely from my intake manifold. I think it was two star screws and a little plastic tab on the throttle cable rotor. Pulled it out, threw it out, no adverse affects at all. As for “fucker #2”; just pull the vacuum hose off of it and cap it if possible. I also removed the selenoids located directing behind the intake manifold which were routed to the map and fpr. Now my fpr and map sensor plug directly into the intake manifold without any obstacles.

Later

yes definitley eliminate that garbage, i didnt notice any difference but less shit to go wrong if you ask me.

Cool, thank you. Will take care of it tommorow.

What exactly are those two things I have them hooked up on my turbo integra but the only engine check light codes I get are the #1 oxygen sensor and #13 Barometric pressure. I have only owned the car for a month and am still reading through the repair book.

they are dashpots, they have been discussed on here many times before

IT’s a done deal. Ripped em off compeletly, jb welded holes shut. Runs like a beauty. :ok:

hahahaha JB Weld … HMT to the heart huh?

lol i used a pick like that for another question exactly the same as urs using red paint. lol

The first one is some idle control for AC. I dont know what the fuck it does, but i took the fucker off and it runs fine.

wow just wow. If you dont know what it does why are you posting?? Yuri if you carefully remove and unscrew them you might be able to sell the here , on ebay , or on Honda-tech. The “cap” (youll see what i mean who you remove them) fits some other honda manifolds.
