Honestly I’m having a hard time knowing where to start. I’ve started looking and there are a lot options out there. Looking at ebay as reference isn’t helping as the prices range anywhere from $15 up to a couple hundred bucks. I know you get what you pay for so I’m staying away from the cheapest, but really what is there in the mid range? What am I looking for to know how loud or what it’ll sound like?

also the Bosch ones off the 1.8L Passats sounds pretty good

I personally would say stay away from Knock off’s i bought a fake HKS and it died 3 days after and my turbo was backspooling so i bought a real one and cant complain now, i think HKS has a sale on ebay for the limited black ones for 150… so check them out
personally i have a turbosmart and know many people that do. they work great. id also recommend a tial. just make sure to buy a proper bov and not a bov that looks all cool and sounds sick but works like shit.
I just had a quick look online at both of those. Something I’ll consider. What are your thoughts about Blitz? There’s one for sale on a local forum for $120 (used) c/w with the pipe.
I am using the Blitz DD BOV and it’s been great for me. makes a swoooosh sound similar to the popular BOVs out there, and doesn’t leak. the only downfall is when you wanna sale or make more power, Tial is what everyone turns to so I will never get back what I paid for it or be able to push more than the what the hard spring will handle, so my bet is on the Tial. wish I knew this before purchasing mine.
just go with a tial, they work good and that’s all you need.
