what does this part do? **PICS**

this came with some turbo stuff i purchase and wanted to know what it is and what it does, thanks.

goes where the oil filter is then the oil filter screws on that

for vtec/turbo oil

they call it a sandwich plate.

ahh I SEE…

guess i dont need it then huh, since im going ls turbo…

thanks guys

yeah, u really dont need it since u are going turbo. email me, I would like to buy it from u. maxboost@hotmail.com

you dont need it, but its easier to use one of those then to run a t fitting off the oil pressure sensor

wtf!! why are you saying he doesnt need it?? a sandwich is MUCH more reliable than a shitty T off the block, or even the firewall T. dont listen to this crap sexiaccord, keep your sandwich and run your oil off of that, you will be much less prone to leaking if you tap off a sandwich then a T off the block.

they want to buy it lol. it is how you supply the turbo with oil. definately something you would want.

there is a diffrence between want and need. He doesnt need it. If you have already bought it then use it. Dont waste your money unless your doing lsvtec or running an oil pressure gauge.

he doesnt need it??? WTF are you talking about??? every turbo setup should be using a sandwich, T off the block=leak. wasting money??? sounds like he already bought it:stfu:

I got the tunertoys fitting to T off my block and It doesnt leak, never has.

Also, does that sammich plate just slide on? The ones I’ve seen are threaded. The one pictured looks like it will make a big mess every time you replace the filter. IMO get the T fitting.

my T never leaked either.

i think i would trust that more, it looks a little more sturdy
