What expected HP from forged pistons?

Instead of getting a new motor like i was planning on, i decided to build the LS. It needs new rings so, for my new set up tell me what u think the power will be. Will i be safe running 20psi on that? I have seen people run 14psi on the stock LS on a 60/63. Will i hit 400?

8.6:0 pistons, not sure what brand
rings
Arp heastuds
MLS head gasket
stage 3 clutch

t3/t4 70/82 turbo
Air-to-Water IC (complicated setup but i got it figured out)
2.5 in DP

Why such a big turbo?

I wouldnt run a c/r that low, it will be too laggy before boost. And yea, that turbo is a little overkill. That combination will take eternity to build boost.

Keep your Comp ratio up, 9.0 lowest…I would aim for 9.2 or 9.5:1

20 lbs with pistons/rods should be fine…keep the timing conservative

i dont really have money for rods, what do you all think about used rods or pistons? probably then 9.2

i dont want boost until i need it, if i shift at 7200 then i want to be in boost. That is all that i need it

Stock PR4 rods are pretty weak honestly, shot peening them for $50 might help…but if you are going to spend the $$$ on pistons, get rods too.

Hell, TT rods are very cost effective!

i got used eagle rods and srp 9:1 for $250 or so a while back. those and the stock ls sleeves should have held up 400whp fine.
