What has broken on your G2 today?

rear FAL glass, cracks are getting bigger & bigger

:shock::bye:
rear FAL glass, cracks are getting bigger & bigger
Door lock, the window clips that keeps the window in the tracks, the back hatch shocks and the tie rods.

i wonder which thread will be bigger, this one, or the “what have you done to your car today” thread

Lol, this one is getting up there.

It was raining pretty hard yesterday, so my I was getting leaks through both seatbelt tracks, tailights, and windshield cowl. The leaky cowl is also starting to rust up the bearings in the blower, because it’s starting to sound pretty noisy, lol.
Rust.
Window seals.
Cam plug leak.
I’m sure there’s more

Haha, some more stuff I found while getting out of my car today:
broken driver’s tailight, rear bumper that’s been damaged on the driver’s side, antenna mast, power steering pump, and the driver’s quarter panel that my sister hit trying to avoid the grass :bang::wtf:

Dont you just hate it when the grass jumps out in front of you and you have to swerve to miss it:rant:

I say you report her to the police and say it was a hit and run :giggle:

hey mang, grass produces oxygen for us to breathe :stuck_out_tongue: every bit counts

just doesnt run, not sure why

the owner (went) broke

In Oct of last year, the owner of a 1991 Integra LS said “fuck it” after trying to get a full-time job as an English teacher (and after getting an MA in Teaching English). He left behind $11K in credit card debt, an $800 bounced check, a $1700 traffic ticket, and a primo Teggy.

He didn’t sell the Teggy, he just transferred title to a relative.

He misses the Teggy. The Chinese would rather drive Beemers than rice.

Everything, apparently… :tsk:

The car had a slight pull to the right under certain road conditions, so I suspected it needed an alignment. I dropped it off at the shop this morning and just got a call back from them.

Rear lca bushings: shot (not too surprising)
Front lca bushings: shot (should have known, I suppose)
Front springs: broken! (wtf?)
Front driver’s side caliper: siezed (again, should have known, since there was an abnormal amount of brake dust present)

I think there was something else, but I forgot. I’ll get the official list after work today. Grand total for parts and labour:

$3000!

Needless to say I won’t be paying anyone to do all that work…

^stealership prices plus some

No doubt! Although when I phone the local Honda dealer in search of prohibitively expensive parts they always advise going aftermarket (the parts guy said that they use aftermarket reman axles in their shop when doing replacements on older cars).

The grand total was $3370, which included new control arms front and rear (not just bushings), new springs for $185 each, and new calipers, plus labour.

Their price on calipers was actually reasonable (about $75), but I can get rebuilt calipers at NAPA for about $65 CAD plus a discount.

I could replace the calipers, lower my car and get a full polyurethane bushing kit for much less than their quote for parts…

My passenger seat belt won’t move forward when I turn the car off. I gotta take it to the Honda stealership to get them to fix it for free! :ohyeah:

i thought only the driver seatbelt does dat??

this thread is scary lol

Ok good news first, just put on new Tokico Adjustable Shocks and H & R Racing Springs … Now Bad News… The next day I’m driving home and my car started sputtering. Thought it was MFR, but after replacing with brand new oem still no fuel pressure. When I gave 12V with power probe to yellow/black tracer wire to pump the pump clicks on and the car will run. (now I think I need a fuel pump)… “OHHH… BUT I LOVE MY DA.”

My gas door cable just broke on my DA. Damn now i have to go to a junkyard this week.

Lately Ive been having problems with the automatic shoulder belt doing what its supposed to do :frowning:

spark plug is stuck and i cant get it out, car is running like crap on 3 cylinders
