the motor on DB1 locked up today! 
Judging by the name of the thread, I thought it would never slow down. Who knew?
In the past year alone:
Mind numbing amount of wiring issues
Driver side seatbelt rail leak
Both auto belts not working
Warped rotors
Sheared starter
2 sets of rubbers
CV joints annihilated
A/C died
Driver seat adjustment no longer locks upright
Numerous blown fuses
Mysterious PS sounds that disappear when I try to find the source
Rusty rusty rocker panels
Gauges that don’t work until you smack them
… oh and my favorite… the infamous ‘plz shower me when i brake’ sunroof leak. You know, the one where water sloshing around in the pan above you spills onto your head at red lights, giving everyone around you a healthy helping of omfgroflscrub
Most of this crap has been taken care of. I still love my G2, even though these cars have a twisted sense of humor 
this past week, my DA has been giving me stupid problems.
About tuesday of last week, i got used innovative mounts from a friend, they came off a 91 and my car is a 92. Without prior knowledge that the 90-91 is different from the 92-93, that was a problem. I was in desperate need of mounts, all 4 of my oem inserts where torn and not even connected to the mounts, so those were broken.
I was only able to replace the tranny and rear mount, i have to wait until tuesday to buy an aftermarket insert for my stock driverside mount.
Then… the day i got my mounts i put them on and finished that same night. Took my car out for a spin, launched first, kicked into second and third(stage 3 clutch), the 2 mounts that were on made a big difference from what i had, although if i had the 3rd mount, it would be so much better.
anywho, i get back home after a few minutes of testing it, i open my hood and there is radiator fluid everywhere, on my hood, over my engine, just everywhere. So the top hose where its clamped onto the radiator broke. NOT the hose, the plastic piece that the hose is clamped onto broke, so i had to buy a whole new radiator. grr,
not to mention, i also cracked my windshield when i was putting the mounts in. Opened the hood all the way up to give me some room and the left corner of my hood cracked the very lower part of my windshield, now the crack is almost near the middle of my windshield.
wow, what a week for me…
160 for mounts, 170 for a radiator and hoses, fluids, etc. and 100+ for a broken windshield that i havnt yet to replace. =[

p.s. and just yesterday i found out why my pants in the hatch where wet.
I washed my car and there was a pool of water in the hatch(rear light gasket fails)… -.-
stupid typical problem for the g2’s. gotta hate them, gotta love them.
I guess mine isn’t so bad. I need some suspension love, its been feeling looser and looser and floaty. Starting to get a vibe at speed, I am pretty sure I need to replace all the balljoints and tie rod ends. Probably every single bushing on my suspension as well.
On my way to the CO g2 meet, I stopped for gas and my fresly polished rim on my driver side front was covered in grease. Blew an axle boot.
I have a bad oil leak from my vtec solenoid, which I will replace when I have the car down for boost.
Other than that its not so bad. My car will be down here shortly to boost it and while its on jack stands I will address all these issues. Except the paint which looks like shit lol.
I also found out that my rear defroster is out. I don’t know if its the switch or not. When I push it in it doesn’t saty in.
Man I could go on and on about shit I need to address lol.

Well, my radio died this week. The ribbon cable is bad. Bought it from the stereo dealer for $10.95 plus shipping of $7 and some change.
And my original Denso starter gave up this December.
Lastly I have a current draw of 0.39a
i was coming the other night from my girls house and im getting on the 60 fwy from the 15 fwy and im merging over to the fast lane to when all of sudden i hit something ia few seconds later i smell gas and see my gas gauge falling rapidly after i had just filled it up also :bang: so i check it out theres like nice puncture hole in the tank the size of silver dollar.
I need new front shocks and axles.

Was it stock or aftermarket.
they were stock ones that broke…and i replaced them with the SPC ones which are red…and they have spherical bushings which is awesome and quality is awesome as well…
well a week after buying my da two years ago blew up my ys1 tranny and broke a axle all in the same day. after fixing it i found out the guy i bought the car from did put any gear oil in the thing.
and then yesterday my tire blew out on the freeway
but i still love my car ha ha
horn button cap fell off and wont go back on and i’ve pressed the horn in as hard as i can. Super gluing is in order.

looks like that axle was only hanging on by a few teeth before the inevitable. been pounding on her pretty hard, haven’t we?

I was on my way back home from visiting family for christmas and had a blowout. My spare is flat (though I filled it before we left), and my car jack doesn’t lift my tire off the ground because I’ve got a 4 inch drop rollin on 17’s.
So now my girl, my dog, my cat, and myself are riding in a truck with some dude that was nice enough to pick me up and drive us the other 2 hours we had left on our trip home.
Fml.
