What have you done to your Integra today? (Part 1)

Was supposed to do my B16A & Y1 LSD swap, but buddy bailed so it’ll wait till Monday to get them installed. But cleaned up my bucket seat I picked up at the auto wreckers and repainted my Momo wheel (hopefully the paint stays so that the blue wheel doesn’t show back up lol

i changed the battery, changed the headlight bulb, changed the temp gauge sensor.

make sure the open part of that clip on the inner side of the CV is at the bottom. Get the shaft in by hand to where you’re certain that the splines are lined up and then with someone/something holding the spindle out of the way try to pull back and then in hard till it pops in.

Bought a shell froze my ass off moving it and gunna freeze my ass off parting all day tomorrow

Checking in… Flushed and replaced 23 year old power steering fluid. Ya I know. Really really dirty. But NEVER had any steering issues. Not lying.

Also Flushed, bled, and replaced brake fluid too. Sweat my ass off too. Cause it was warm today in San Diego.

I should probably do this as well once the snow disappears enough to get my car in the shop. Did you notice any difference with the new fluid?

Yes. The steering wheel felt a tad easier to turn. You should do this yourself and save some money from taking it to a shop. Its easy and I don’t know much about cars.

Haha the only thing my car sees a shop for is an alignment because I don’t have the tools to do it. My parents have a shop on their property that I usually work in, so I guess I could have chosen my wording better. On another note I picked up a set of EK side skirts today for a whopping $12. Time to get reacquainted with the ole dremmel.

Got some goodies

EBC Green stuff rear pads and timing belt kit

I’m super stoked for tomorrow. My wheels finally show up then I just need to mount up some tires. I ended up getting Enkei Compe’s in 16x8 et25 and am going to be running 205/45R16 tires. I’ve only been saying that I want to get a new set of wheels for the past 7 years haha.

You deserve that new set of wheels bro!
And today a person I met threw eBay shipped to me 130 for a black Jdm armrest solid shape nice find!

Haha I’m quite happy with them. I just have to wait for my next days off to get the tires mounted. Unfortunately the Achilles ATR Sport tires seem to have a bloody stiff side wall so it may be interesting to get a 205/45/R16 over a 8 inch wide wheel.

A friend and I made these brackets today for my traction bar. I don’t know why the people over at Avid Racing decided to only have one bolt hold it onto the control arm instead of two bolts like the stock one, but I’ve never felt that was safe so problem solved now. We just cut the end off the stock bars and used that since it already had the perfect holes in them

Good idea! I was wondering the same thing but that looks like the perfect solution

Just replaced my back pads/rotors/calipers. Can’t wait till winter is over… no more NYC salt trucks plz

Currently swapping from the stock B18A1 w/YS1 to B16A SiRII w/Y1 LSD, so far still need to remove the axles then pull her out. Hopefully have this swap finished by the end of the weekend because I have a bunch of other work I need to do on her… lol

Update: Managed to pull the motor and now doing a P/S, Cruise Control and A/C Delete. Also have a few other small things I need to do to the car.

Wheels are now mounted and it looks like I need to dial in some camber and roll/maybe pull the fenders. Also the Achilles tires went on beautifully for anyone thinking of buying them. The guy who mounted them didn’t even use a bead blaster to get them to seat just some air pressure. As soon as I threw them on I kind of regretted going with the 16x8 but oh well I’m stuck with them now.

I have been resurrecting a set of one piece headlights that I bought and where F’d up.

check out my build thread cause one picture wouldn’t show you guys anywhere near what I was actually doing.

and I picked up another DA lol

got an alignment check and said that I need camber kits installed with new strut. I post a then reading in a bit
