What have you done to your Integra today? (Part 1)

Im at the same stage now just to paint it…

Walked past it to my wrx. No db2 in the snow.

Well last night I got the idea that I would drive my car from the car tent down to the shop to install my coilovers and dial in some more camber. It has been fairly nice out for being February and figured I could manage with the small amount of snow on the ground. I woke up this morning to 6 inches of fresh snow… So much for that plan haha.

I started parting it out.

Not sure if its the right place to post here but are the LCA interchange from other Honda / acura suspension.

Got about half way through my 50$ Rustoleum paint job. Few more coats, some wetsanding and a few other repairs to go.

thats a rustoleum paint job? i painted mine with primer so far any tips or hw to go at it to make it look pro?

hondanerd that paint job looks really nice for 50 bucks man.

Ya its the Rustoleum roll on paint job. So the paint is applied with a 4 inch high density foam roller after being diluted to 50/50 paint/mineral spirits. you can spray it too. Look up “50$ paint job” for more info. You can see with mine its not perfectly smooth or glossy yet but its getting close. Thin coats are the key along with careful wet sanding every 2 or 3 coats. You save cost and the complications that go with spraying but pay for it time and patience required.

Thank you! Not done yet. Will probably post a full thread once its done with more info and pics.

Replaced the oil pressure sensor, the radiator fan control module and put in a new master cylinder. Next is tires and a alignment.

Got a new set of speakers… Pioneer ts-d1702r’s

My car decided to do a rapid disassembly of the A/C idler pulley while driving down the highway. I heard a couple clanks then smelled burnt rubber and pulled over. I burnt the hell out of my thumb and middle finger when I picked up the bolt so apparently the bearing was a touch dry. I didn’t have a knife on me or in the car to get the belt out of there but luckily a cop happened to drive by and was nice enough to remove the belt from the bay. I ended up being 10 minutes late for work but at least it was a catostrophic failure of a non critical system.

Looks very nice. I am jelly of all those new parts. My db1 is on cut springs (I didn’t do it) so I want everything you just put on lol.

Here’s something I did this past weekend threw on my header and my fluidyne radiator. I also installed my struts back on my trunk and still be able to use my xbar.
