What have you done to your Integra today? (Part 1)

Repainted the bumper molding.

finally got this bitch on on the ground after being on stands since before winter:ohyeah::ohyeah::rockon:

Finally installed circuit breakers in the switch panel. Good day stupid fuses and fuse holders.

Replace my driver main window switch today. Yay!! Any recommendations of brands for tie rod ends? Might just go to oreilly . Let me know guys.

me and my brother put on my dc sports catback. it sounds so good you cant even hear it from inside the car but outside it sounds good. i also got a brand new magnaflow catalytic converter and grade 8 hardware. ill post a clip up on here probably tomorrow morning

Removed the passenger fender to take to the body shop for dent repair and paint. I have not worked on my car for 6 years. It is rough having kids, no time for anything. Now that I am retired for health issues It is time to get the Integra back on the road!

put her on the driveway for the winter

Drove car for the first time in a year. Took it for an alignment. Toe came out perfect, a laughable 5.3* natural negative camber (it’s slammed).

Pulled the 1-pieces to freshen them up and reseal.

Pulling the interior and carpet, making my rear seat delete.

Then, back on stands to rebuild the CCW’s over the winter.

Starting to scour for parts for the turbo setup.

I hit a deer on my way home from work today. :argh:

Woòoooooowwwww how unfortunate man!!!
For both you and the deer.

Oh the deer is fine, he never missed a step. Unfortunately the db1 is not. I suspect there may be some slight frame damage as it hit directly on the front of the frame rail and just pulling the support and bolting up new panels didn’t get it to fit at all. I spent a couple hours trying to get it fixed with no success. I’ll probably part it out start over on a straight framed car.

Well let’s see, in the past month or so I have gotten may car tuned, blew a headgasket, and a hole in the side of my tranny. Bought another b16 tranny and all the rebuild parts. Pulled the motor. Took Old LS trans w/ Wavetrac LSD and b16 Trans to RLZ. Should get it back next week. Hope to be back up by next weekend (Fingers Crossed)

Got the headlights taken apart to restore. Cleaned the foglight covers and tossed some clear on them. Putting together today and putting a good bead of silicone on them.

Dropping car off for the exhaust on Saturday. Full 3" w/ Super Turbo muffler and Vibrant Ultra quiet resonator. Will be perfect for the turbo setup build over the winter. Car isn’t driven often now, so not concerned about a loud exhaust while NA.

Replaced the 2.75" AEM cold air intake with a 3" Injen intake. Using the same Vibrant air filter, it does feel stronger.

I tried to install my new DC ceramic coated header, unfortunately the mounting tab at the rear is all sorts of wrong for the stock mount. Going to go open up some of the holes with a die grinder after supper.

I picked up my LS-S steering wheel from the upholster today. I had it rewrapped in leather. The guy did a great job, but used a much more detailed stitching than OEM Honda. Tomorrow I am installing the fender I had resprayed, polishing out the one pieces and reinstalling the steering wheel. Next is draining, dropping and cleaning the tank and blowing out the lines and replacing the fuel filter. It will be nice to get it back on the road after sitting for 7 years.

Finally had the passenger side seatbelt repaired under the Acura lifetime warranty. Its been working intermittently, and lately not at all, since I started working on the car. What finally drove me over the edge was the incessant beeping that started a few days ago.

Interesting process. At first, the dealer wanted a signature guarantee for an hour of labor, in case the problem was not covered under the warranty. I was sort-of OK with that, since I was pretty sure it was the belt, but after calling their “Acura warranty rep” they reversed themselves and said that Acura policy was not to charge for time to diagnose it regardless of the warranty coverage.

Later that day I was told the fault was in a door position sensor, and today that it was a sensor in the guide rail assembly. When I picked up the car, I found out that they replaced both the rail guide, as well as the drive unit… whatever. As long as the infernal beeping does not come back for another 25 years, I am happy…

So chalk one up for sharing info online, or I would not have known there was a lifetime warranty for the belts.

I bought a DB2 yesterday. I’m the second owner and it has 194,000km on the clock. My god, I’m already in love.

Not today so much as the past couple of weeks: Yesterday, swapped on summer wheels and tires; Tuesday, dealer installed new timing belt, water pump, seals, etc.; Last week, tune up - I changed plugs, wires, pcv valve, distributor cap & rotor, and fuel filter. Now if I can just solve the early return of a bout of dreaded “Honda Spring Disease” (no crank when hot starting) I can enjoy a bump-start free spring and summer.

Been a while since ive posted… but this past weekend, I replaced all the OEM bushings in the front with Energy Suspension. Last year I replaced the rear trailing arms & compensator arms with OEM… pretty much stock except for Tokiko Blues with Eibach springs…

Pretty much how she sits as of now…
