Mounted dash camera behind rearview mirror, and did a temporary “tuck” of the power cable - routing along top of windshield, down beneath door weather moulding, and across under dash to console/cigarette lighter. If rolling with the cam proves worthwhile, I’ll hardwire it in.
Why do this? Check out the YouTube Channel “Bad Drivers of Vancouver”. Living and daily driving in this town, I sometimes think that instead of “tuning” my ‘Teg I should be doing some sort of Mad Max mod to it - ya’ know: matt primer, raised on oversized knobbies mounted on steelies, bar bumpers front and rear, diamond plate tacked to the sides, etc, etc. Grrr . . .
it was in between the koni yellows or an exhaust so scrolling through the bay aka ebay, i found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/281386632785?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 its not just a generic one buts its dc lol i thing it was an alright deal and i rather risk trying this than a generic one. i wanted something a little quieter since i have nothing after my cat. it looks like its in really good condition just need to by some exhaust bolts and such but anyhow im exited! also i may still be getting the konis because i get paid tuesday so we will see haha
I looked at that exhaust on ebay yesterday lol, I saw that the poster wasn’t sure it was a full DC exhaust or just the tip was DC sports. But for the price it looked pretty nice, at least better than the normal ebay exhaust you can get for the same price. hopefully you got nice sounding exhaust, i’m in for an update!
yeah man me too! i was like either way for 150 its better than risking it with any old ebay i guess it gives me SOME peace of mind lol. but yeah man we will see when she gets here and ill post a clip. i gotta buy some bolts and gaskets just to be on the safe side. speaking of that do you know how many gaskets and exhaust bolts there is throughout the whole cat back? im not sure if the bolts from the manifold to that cat catalytic converter are different because mines are shot i just need all new ones. also are any of them different sizes? i tried searching but i yielded no real definitive results haha. im guessing there’s like 6 maybe? from the axle back to mid pipe, to the mid pipe to cat, and then the cat the manifold. since there’s 2 on my cat and then 3 gaskets in between all three of those sections. i would buy oem but im not sure if any old gasket will do. also the diameter of the piping wasn’t listed :think:
edit: i dont have any piping after the cat so just my bolts on my cat are shot haha
I did some navy plaid door cards and sun visors…looks horrible because i got a red leather nrg wheel and a green quick release? lol i was bored and im gonna wrap mt headliner in it next. i dont really care though its different and looks pretty stupidly unique to me. i also ordered a b&m short shifter and g2ic sticker! im about to buy some shifter bushings from energy.
I slapped the dashboard because she was giving me issues. She was driving funky Hesitating n what not.
Glad i slapped her because it seemed like it worked n fixed the issue lol!
