Had two Driver side axles installed on the car
So removed the driver side axle on the passanger side and put a passanger side axle LOL.
I thought they wouldn’t spline properly side to side? On topic of this thread though I painted the wiper arms on the DB so they’re no longer black with shiny wind worn sections.
Bought some wheel locks and cleaned up interior. Next on the list is a valve cover gasket, and repainting wheels.
not sure but all i know is driver side axles fit in the passanger side lol

Huh? The lady walking in the back? NICE!
Decided to try my hand at wet sanding today. I did one foglight and the difference between the old vs polished is amazing. The polished one now matches pretty damn close to the glass lens of the headlight. Now I’ve opened up a can of worms because I have to do the other foglight and the corners as well. And then do it all again on the other Teg…
And I washed the DA today for the first time since bringing it out from hibernation. I need to get a buffer so I can give the paint some love.
Nice Captiva Blue DA man looks clean.
Spent two hours in cleaning the body and engine bay.
Thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately she does have a worsening case of Honda herpes on both rear arches.
New (aftermarket) starter installed by dealer. As the factory starter I’d requested is apparently no longer available, the warranty will cover both parts and labour. Seems fair enough.
My intermittent hot start/no crank issue resolved itself on Saturday with a total failure in a Safeway parking lot. No amount of rubber mallet whacking would cause it to engage. So, with the wife pushing (she’s tiny but strong), a bump start got us home and then to the dealer this morning. Testing at the dealer indicated that the solenoid was shot. Hopefully, the replacement resolves the no crank inconvenience once and for all.
Gutted HVAC, shifter, ebrake, and radio consoles, sound deadening, replaced a leaky cam seal, wired my radiator fan to a switch. Autocross this Sunday, prepping for that.
I got registration and insurance on the GS-R. I’m so excited for VTEC!
Got Some front Lower Control ES Bushings and Steering rack bushings…
Today my DB2 will get installed: Exedy Stage-1 clutch, Fidanza lightened flywheel, timing belt, front crank seal, rear main seal, cam seals, new timing belt cover, O2 sensor, new rack and pinion, new oil pan seal, and a fresh oil change. This is a much needed job for my GS-R
Looks good man i remember that day of losing the 4x4 what a great feeling lol
I fixed my first gen Integra lip after using it as a shovel up in the mountains. Originally I just fired drywall screws through it and used washers as spacers. I switched to using the stock anchor nuts and just drilled holes with a step bit in the lip so I could put M6x1.5 bolts in. Its a hell of a lot more sturdy not and I don’t have to worry about potentially shedding screws while driving down the road if I happen to bump it again.
