any body using a precision 6262? if so do you like it…
it’s a very big turbo for someone who asks such a question for sure.
On my 1.8L GSR i am running a tubronetics 62-1 with p-trim exhaust wheel and .69 a/r hot side t3 housing.
I’m running a Garrett. 42/.48 on my ls right now and its amazing you have such a broad power band
I’m running a Greddy 18G on my B18C1 powered DA right now. Quick spool for the street. Also have my backup turbo: Garrett T3/T4 50 Trim .63 hot side turbo put aside for future use.
i have a Garrett gt3582r with tial hot side and antisurge housing
a 6262 is good if you’re aiming for something like 600hp. for lower power there is much better turbo’s. i have a gt2871r and it’s one of the best sized turbo’s for a street 400hp setup.
Any more info on your setup? WHP numbers@what psi? How much Torque?Internally gated? Which manifold? Intercooler piping size? Down pipe size?
Btw, my name is Ronnie…nice to meet you.
Can you please provide a little more info on your setup? I also have a B18C1 with a Greddy 18G kit…but I’m in the process of purchasing a new turbo due to my WHP goal. I was wondering if you are using the Greddy Elbow/Downpipe and if you made any modifications to the Internal Waste Gate port? Also, what size diameter piping are you using for your exhaust. Do you have any power figures you can provide?
Thanks,
Ronnie.
I’m running an sc61,6262 is probably overkill unless your looking to make 600+ while it makes good power its becoming a bandwagon turbo…plenty more options out there.
So the car made 213 HP and 199 torque at 7 pounds…stock motor…2.5 inch down pipe and 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust.dsm 450 injectors.2 inch piping to IC. 2.5inch charge pipe from IC to throttle body. Cast manifold from skunk 2…external tial wastegate…racetrack tomorrow just got my car tuned by Rev Development Technology in Sacramento today
liljfoda916, those are very nice numbers for street setup (daily).
You didn’t mention which “stock” motor you are running, B18A, B18C or B16?
Probably an LS motor looking at the tq it put out.
Yes a stock b18a1
liljfoda916- how do you like your tune from Rev Development Technology ?
Well my piston melted so I think I wont be tuning with them anymore
Damn, didn’t you just get it tuned like 2 weeks ago?
Yea I had just had it tuned…I’m pretty pissed
wow! Sorry to hear that man. If you want to vent…go for it, I’ll like to hear the events leading up to this incident.

The 18g is rebuilt with the internal wastegate port welded shut. I’m not using the greddy elbow (too much restriction) I’m using a no name elbow off from the t28 aka s14/s15 aka sr20det engine. 3in outlet that goes to 2.5" dp and 2.5" exhaust. From turbo it’s 2" to IC and then 2.25" to the skunk2 manifold. Injectors: RC 550cc. I’m also using a Tial external wastegate with log T3 turbo manifold. Not using the crappy e-manage, I using the Hondata S300 for tune and tuning is done by Shawn Church of Chruch Automotive. I don’t plan to boost alot since this is a daily driver… I save that for my 05’ Pontiac GTO ( APS Twin Turbo 500+ whp ;P)
244whp 218trq at 8 psi safe tune
