What turbo?

Ok so I have finally gotten everything together and all parts ordered for my turbo setup, but my supplier wants to know what turbo i’d like with my kit, here are my options and he needs me to pick one asap:

3 different Garrett Turbos:

T31 / T04E 60-1
6 months warranty.
TURBO SPECIFICATIONS:
compressor wheel: 59. / 76.2 mm 60 trim
compressor housing: T04E 0.70 a/r 4" / 2½". (housing configuration may vary)
center section: oil cooled journal bearings
Turbine wheel: 56.5 mm / 65 mm - 76 trim (stage 3)
Turbine housing .63 a/r

T31 / T04B 63 trim
6 months warranty.
TURBO SPECIFICATIONS:
compressor wheel: 55.4 / 69.9 mm 63 trim
compressor housing: T04B 0.60 a/r, 2¾" / 2"
center section: oil cooled journal bearings
Turbine wheel: 76 trim (stage 3)
Turbine housing .63 a/r, 5 bolts outlet flange

T3 / T4E 57 trim
6 months warranty.
TURBO SPECIFICATIONS:
compressor wheel: 56.6 / 74.9 mm 57 trim
compressor housing: T04E 0.70 a/r, 4" / 2½"

Turbine wheel: 68 trim

3rd choice 57 trim. Nice turbo .

3RD sounds like a good choice.

If you’re interested I have a Kinectic Dual Ball Bearing T3 50trim, .63 exhaust side, 4 bolt. only 6k miles on it…

I just sold my 57trim last night but ot was a nice turbo. i dont think youll hit your goal of 400 with ot but youll come close, but youll be putting the turbo to the test. mine was maxxed out and i made 387hp and 340ftlbs on a all ls setup, so imo, i would go 60trim. my new setup is going to be a t67h.o.

No cams? that plays a huge role for ls’s…your torque is going to drop like a rock after 6500rpm.

Ok I’ve decided to go with the first one, I want some mean power on the track, does anyone know if I will have any clearance issues? and what about the crossmember will this get in my way?

what kind of manifold are you going to run? what side is your downpipe going to face? half or full size rad? stock crossmember or aftermarket? it all depends on what you have… i too wouldve choose the first turbo, i have a masterpower .70 on mines and it a PITA to get to work
