kinda stumped on what i should do here. My turbo does not have a fitting on the cold side housing to hook the line to and my charge pipes dont either.
is there somewhere else i can go with it where its not going to lag like crazy?
run your vac line from the wastegate nipple to a port on your intake manifold. Some folks make a T off of the FPR vacuum line. Or you can get a vacuum manifold/block so you can reference your bov, Wg, and boost gauge all from one source.
A lot of people run it to the intake manifold and it works fine.Although, the correct way is to run the vaccum line to the compressor outlet so that it responds quicker to the boost level. The wastegates arent supposed to see vaccum, but I ran my car that way for a long time and never had an issue so its up to you.
i ran mine off the port on the throttle body (which only see’s boost, no vacuum) for a year and had zero problems. this year i drilled and taped a hole in my hot side piping and installed a fitting.
any pics?
which port are you talkin about for the throttle body?
the bigger one right in the middle on the top. where that red hose goes to.
