Which B series engine isbest for turbo. Also Vtec or non Vtec

As the title states which B series engine is best for FI and vtec or non vtec.

I see that the b18b has 9.8 compression while the others are in the 9 and 10s.

also Im a CB7 tuner and im working on the integra for my friend so which one fits easily…not sure…im more into the f series and the all mighty h22 and h23. thnx for any input and all links and answers will be appreciated.

Reliability/ease B18B (the freshest you can find)
Power B16
If you are going to BUILD the engine, then it doesnt matter for shit. But stock for stock the vtec engines make more power, but need to be tuned WELL. LS turbos are most common and have nice torque. Search next time.

B18C1 turbo plenty TQ and good amount of HP if out of yor price range go LS-T

I don’t think he is going to buy a type-r motor to boost stock…if he is, why not get any other motor and build it, for the same cost?
