white smoke and steam out of the vc

Everything was fine a couple days ago and then i was going somewhere and i noticed some smoke under the hood. so i looked and its coming out of the nipple thing on the valve cover. then later that day people told me there is a bunch of white smoke coming out of the exhuast. I assume its the head gasket but why is smoke coming out of the valve cover? i read the other post about this and it didnt go anywhere so, does anyone got a idea?. the car runs fine other than that stuff

IMHO, you cracked ringlands and blew your headgasket.

That sounds correct to me, unfortunately.

what is a ringland? im pretty sure it the headgasket but dont wanna buy one if the motor is trash. its running perfect at the moment. althought it doesnt seem as perfect at idle. do you think it could just be the head gasket?

bump for help

the ringlands are the peices of piston between the rings. They are the weakest point of the b-series block.
