White92LS531's restoration/build progress thread. Pic heavy.

Oh yea, I’ll have that cash money tomorrow for that cluster bro. I’ll be at work but I’ll probably be sending it around 2pm. Thanks again.

Rest of the Recaro fabric won’t be in until Saturday, maybe Monday. Excited to see the gray, that’s what I’ll be doing the pillars and headliner in. Black will be for the lower strip on the front doorpanels, and possibly the armrest with red stitching, maybe a shiftboot. Sent an email to Stitchcraft to see if they can do something with the rear seat, no reply yet. Basically just waiting on some cash flow to get this order from Honda in.

Sweet, if you’ve got some Moogen bushings you’re good to go. And no worries on the monies man, that cluster is waiting for ya
Damn, you got grey and black too? Heck yea!

hell of a build man lovin see it come along

Loving.the updates, can’t wait to see the interior all done. Makes me jealous I can’t work on my teg… and that when I do I need to step my game up a little. Quite a few really nice integra builds happening and this is one of them.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Really motivates me to do work. Like I said I’m kind of at a stalemate until I can get my Honda orders placed.

Rest Of the Recaro jersey fabric came in. Got a 3 yard run of gray and a single yard of black. Started pulling the old fabric off the loaded GS/GSR doorpanels I have. Waiting to grab a few cans of SEM and the needed supplies to redye the vinyl and some headliner adhesive to start reupholstering. I’m gonna remove that lower map pocket On each door to make it easier to cover. Looks like I’ll need some 1/8" foam to make up the thickness of the original carpet that was there. I’m out of work a little early today so I’ll have some mockup pictures and some shots of the fabric a little later this afternoon.

Thanks again for the interest and motivation. Stay tuned everyone!

All the fabric together, ready to go.

Getting a rough size for the peices, gonna upsize the pieces by an inch or so.

How did you remove the arm rest piece from the door panel?
I never tried to remove mine cause I didn’t know how I would put it back on

The ones for the front doors don’t come off. I just removed the fabric, the fabric just pulls off and it’s vinyl underneath. Te rear ones can be taken off the panels and wrapped separately.

Jordan, I recommend using some sort of staple of sew the fabric in the corners and edges where it tucks into the door panel. mines is starting to come up around the corners. looks like im gonna have to give mine a second go around. hind sight is 20/20

Also clean out the channel that you tuck the fabric in very, very, very good… If not it will peel out very quickly.

Any updates? If you have your interior installed back in, can you take a picture of the “B” pillar so I can see where the seatbelt comes out of the panel?

updates?

any new updates?

What a sick ass build . I bet when it’s finally finished it’s gonna look like a new off the show room floor acura (honda) integra. Looking good man… Keep up the good work, I’m sure it will pay off for you in the end. :salute:

Hey everybody. I’ve been away for a few months but back into the project again and I have a few updates. nothin big time but a little sneaky peeky.

Finished headliner.

Close up of the new headliner.

99% finished doorpanel. It was too hard to get a super clean edge with the way the fabric is made. So what I decided todo was get it a close as possible and I’m going to trim it with a black cord. I tested it with another color I had and it should look great.

It’s good to be back. Let me know what you guys think.

^^ I like ! Are you gonna do the bottom part of the panel as well? What else are you gonna do to accent the red?

The bottom panel is already done in black.

Nothing else red on the doors, any more and i think itd look tacky. I’m toying with the Idea of getting the new carpet in red and using black mats. But as of right now it’s lookin like just a black carpet. The only other red accents are the stitching on the Momo wheel and the boots. Seats will either be in red or black with red stitching.
