I never had a problem with under-steer, but i did upgrade.
In-fact, one of my friends out drove me going up 17 once, so the stock setup couldn’t be that bad.
I don’t care what other people think. I work on my Integra because im comfortable working on it and it honestly to me is fun to drive. Parts are readily available and inexpensive. I know that there are other cars that are faster from the factory and are designed to be high performance, but those vehicles are a dime a dozen and come with a hefty car payment if you cannot afford it outright.
Its really a shame that people have to be so insecure about themselves and the lack of attention they receive that they have to put down other gearheads and what makes them happy. Although even I disapprove of knockoff parts and bolt on civic dx’s in which the driver thinks its cool to drive like a maniac.
And also to the few people in this thread who had nothing to say but negative things about FWD cars and honda/acura in general, why are you here on this site??
Had fun with my teg while I had it. Got older, grew into something newer with no rust.
I certainly don’t have only negative things to say; Hondas and fwd certainly have their place. Just not my first choice when it comes to HPDE type activities.
I may be new here but man. I’ve had a lot of fun in ALL these cars =/ I don’t see why it matters, fast is fast and fun is fun. I was at the forefront of the first Vq35DE swap into a 240sx. I helped the first 6g73 swap and build. a super fun turbo-ed single cam DSM motor and out of necessity I bought my little DA9 to have a daily driver after the wife and me moved and took jobs at different companies. V8’s are fun. Real wheel drives are fun. 9K RPMs are fun. I don’t care what you drive, if you have passion enough to build it up and make it your own then I have respect for it! cheers to the gear heads
