Is it a good idea to boost a b17a with 160,000 kilometers on it?
thanks!

anyone?
mileage is really not a factor. Its condition of motor. Some motors look like crap after 50k miles and some look brand new at 150k. Its all in how you take car of your car.
So to answer you question… if your motor is in good shape, its perfectly fine.
EDIT: and i dont mean how they look on the outside, i mean internally ![]()
The thing is, I don’t know if the motor is in good shape or not…
I recently threw a rod in my car (right before I even got a chance to install my turbo kit) and I was looking for a motor around here and I came across that one. That is why I’am a little iffy on buying it.
if i were you, i’d buy the motor, keep it on an engine stand for a while, clean it up nice and good, replace any parts that look iffy, and maybe do some internal upgrades while you’re at it if you have the money. basically just do a thorough tear down and rebuild
