i was wondering how you guys have your ls/vtec turbo line conection. I dont have the oil filter sandwich thing. so I dont want to buy it if i dont have to. If anybody have any pics or can give me some ideas how to install the turbo oil line and the ls/vtec line together with out breaking anything with the overweight issue on the block.
P.S i dont have the sensor conected it has been disabled in the ECU so thats not a problem.
theres a sensor on the bottom back side of the block you can doit on… i dont recomend it its cracked 2 of my friends blocks (but it may have been rom over torque! Z)
wow u guys must be hulking it! many guys run the oil press. for the vtec head off the oil press. guage fitting off the block. then either run a t or for like 50 buck u can run a golden eagle oil sandwich and run it properly using both oil ports. one for turbo and one for the head.
seriously i’m not one to be a jerk and i’m always helpful but just buy a damn oil sandwich. if you run a t off the oil press. switch in the back of the block you can make it work that way. it’s self explanitory if you have a manual and general knowledge of engines. i would never recommend not using a oil sandwich as using a t fitting can often break and is a “ghetto” way of doing it for a lack of better terms. do it right the first time. they go for 100 bucks for the sandwich and oil line needed to run to the vtec head.
