How does a spring rate of 450/350 ride on the streets? Like stock or a lil bumpy on rough roads?

no and tehre won’t be any. got screwed. told they were almost here and then today found out they were never shipped b/c koni didnt have all the stuff to assemble them. if i want em i have ot wait until sept/october at the earliest. totall effing bullshit. now i gotta figure out something else.

i plan on buying an asr subframe brace, lower arm bar, control arms, and strut bars. Besides the strut bars, are all the other components a easy drive way job without air tools or any power tools

need professional advice, i shop at jhpusa, any one know of any better sites lmk. thanx in advance

Koni Yellows, Neuspeed race springs.

going with Eibach Pro Street S coilovers. pics in review section.

Where can I get the rear ASR subframe brace?

weksos.

it’s not like stock at all. it’s stiff. but i like it and it’s a little soft for lapping so i would like to go a little stiffer. i daily drove my car a full year with this setup and didn’t mind it at all.

I’ve got skunk2 coilover sleeves - looking for shocks to go with them for daily driving. The skunk2 sleeves are quite bouncy on stock shocks which I believe are dead now. Assuming the issue isnt with the spring rates or something would the following setups give me a more stiff ride?

Skunk2 sleeves + Illumina’s - Will the Illuminas handle a 2.5-3" drop for long?

Would the skunk2 shocks handle the 2.5-3" drop for long?

If you want to be that low get a better spring that isn’t stiff if you don’t plan on using your car for performing. I have the illumina and had the skunk2 sleeve coilover and for being dumped it was whatever at setting 1 on the shocks, at setting 2 and above, it was stiff which probably wouldn’t be fun on bumpy roads.

Yea but better then bouncing like a trampoline  Our roads are decent here and I know where the bad potholes are, I use to avoid them in my skyline :stuck_out_tongue:

I would rather have a firm thud then 10 fading bounces after ever little bump

oh it’s not bouncy like that at all, but i would still recommend getting a softer spring if you want to be low like that.

Yea, Too late now I got the skunk2’s I don’t want to spend anymore money on the car - Figured the skunk2 was a good brand and match them with a good shock.

Its just a daily driver, rough is better then bouncy - my skyline was like a rock over bumps and I loved it

I just finished my set up today…
