16 g Dsm turbo on my DA

I gotta 90 laser off my friend and I am lookin to put up the turbo off of his car. Its a 16g wit 2.5 inch down pipe. Im going to use his 440 injectors. Im just wondering if someone can direct me to where I can find the correct oil feed and return lines for my car to use a 16g wit my 90 LS. Also what would would I need to do as far as making the oil return for the oil pan. Whats the best way to go about this. Ive been to the g2ic turbo guide, and read it throughly some of the links arnt there anymore. just lookin for some help from an actual person… Thanks…

hey, my friend up here in CT. owns a performance shop for mostly dsm’s even though he does alot of work with dodges and also hondas, he has literally hundreds of all different size turbos in his shop mostly off dsm’s, small turbos literally smaller than ur fist, it said td04 on it to bigass 20g turbos. he is really good and has shitloads of oil feed and return lines in his shop with all differnt fittings on them, im positive i can get a feed line that will fit the turbo if u want i can get one for you and it would cost prob. like $20-$30. i’ll let u know though if u dont mind. hope this helps bye

Well are they different then basic t3/t4turbos. Im lookin for both return and feed . so let me know how much it will run and are you gonna ship it out?

yes the fittings are different, you can also check honda-tech, look under the sponsors of the forced induction section and search for Fast-Turbo they sell a nice complete oil line kits. Another alternative hope this helps.

Thanks a bunch, by any chance you know if I can use the down pipe from the laser and it will fit on the DA ? I was told it would but I would need to make something work wit the cat…

for the feed line use a 1g dsm feed line upgrade kit. that will give you the banjo fitting for the feed. for the return, function7 sells drain line fittings for a 16g. the water lines can be left disconnected. the 16g works nicely with the LS.

Who is your friend in CT with the DSM performance shop? I also happen to know somebody in CT with a shop that does mostly DSM stuff as well as Dodges, so I’m curious to see if it’s the same person.

Well Im just gonna use the oil kit, he showed me and am I able to use the stock dsm downpipe well Actually its a hks 2.5 inch one but should it cleat the block no problem?

yeah you really cant go wrong with the fast turbo oil line kit, its everything you need and it comes with a bolt on fitting for the oil pan, although i would put a layer of honda-bond between the gasket and the oilpan and another layer between the gasket and the fitting. good luck

Does anyone know if the oil kit for a 14b will fit a 16g? Im am lookin at many oil line kits. Im not lookin to use the banjo fitting cuz its a pain in the ass.

Sorry, that was just a side convo. I won’t say I’m 100% sure, but I’m pretty sure that the oil fittings for a 14b and 16g are the same. They both use the same housing, only the wheels are different.

No 14b isnt a tdo5 turbo.

nvm I was thinkin the 13b. I talked to the guy at fast turbo and he told me to get a tdo5 kit instead of the 14b kit so idk thats what i did.

14b is a TD05H. If I had mine close by I would take a picture for you.
