Trouble!
So I got into removing front wheels to check and replace whatever is needed. Few things ive noticed:
- ABS sensor is not connected correctly.
- Driver side axle seems longer then expected.
- Passenger side axle boot was torn.
- Passenger brake caliper was hard to remove
- Passenger brake pads were like new as the drivers is in need of change.
When I got a tow to my pad after my tire fell off the guy had asked me to reverse it off the ramp and when I did the driver side wheel was the only side pulling while the passenger side wasn’t moving at all. Is it possible that the engine change from a DA b18a1 to a DC b18b1 effect the size of the axle? If so does that mean that he changed the knuckle and is why the ABS sensor wont fit like if it was OEM. Main thing I need to get fixed is the passenger side wheel to pull and need to find out why the passenger side brake pads are not being worn out evenly with the driver side.
UPDATE:
Ive asked around and heard that DA and DC axles were different. Guy said the intermediate shaft is actually different. DA is a male inner end and the DC is a female inner end.
New Information From Certified Mechanic
Found out my transmission could be either a DA or DC tranny so I would have to check if its a cable transmission to confirm its a DA transmission. If so then ill just use one of the two axles I got for DA. If not then ima have to go and sell my 2 DA axles to get a single passenger side DC axle. Besides that I was talking about my wheel studs needing to be replaced and instead of hacking my wheel studs and dust shield ima just remove my wheel hub and replace wheel bearing on driver side. Great information. Will post pictures tomorrow. . .

Problem Found
Missing boot clamps and Inner joint wasn’t in its case.
Is that a Zip Tie?
Yeah zip ties are common replacements for the boot clamps.
ProMcCrown: Better then OEM. Well I got it off now I just gotto get new axle on and see if it spins. Then next ill have to pop out the bearings and install the wheel studs and get back on my feet.
