92-93 Bumper FMIC Fitment

LoL ignore the dirt spot on the intercooler

I made close to 500hp on this with about 30psi and never had a problem

I am using a Big Apexi MKIV Supra core it is the biggest i have had on this car so far and everything fits behind the bumper…

what is holding your bumper up. in between the headlights i was wondering

Jdm stock rebar slightly modified

H22, what’re you running a oil cooler on. Just curious

Here’s mine. 31.5x8x3.5 precision. My piping isnt the best, it’s ran through the stock air intake hole and back thought the washer reservoir. Works great, I just need pipes welded up instead of the crap load of couplers I have.

I am running an engine oil cooler cause of the heat this car makes… Just wanted to have a little added cooling. All your cars look great guys keep it up!!!

can you post any pics of the added supports you added to bolt the bumper up? i have the same size intercooler and im a having a hard time figuering out how to mount it now all the supports are gone…thx

I am sorry i have no pictures of that. The jdm rebar is literally a bar that bolts to the top of the underside of the bumper, it has the exact same mounts but the standoffs that come off the frame are actually longer than the usdm ones. You can use your stock ones you just have to extend them with washers and longer bolts. I found this http://battlecat.8m.com/JDM%20front%20bumper%20support.htm

it is quite simple it just needs a trim and it will all fit behind your bumper with no issues

Sorry it took so long to respond, been off line for a little bit.
It was a Nikon D40x

It’s a god speed unit, I can’t remember where I got it from, it’s been a while since I bought it.
Yes, I kept the AC system. I’ll post a few pics of the intercooler setup since my last post. It’s been modified a little more.
I still need a little more trimming on the bumper skin for everything to fit perfect.

Here is a pic of the Power Steering Lines “the the fins” re-routed to the back of the front brace.
The pic was taken with me standing in front of the car, bent over and pointing towards the floor.

Here is another view, with me crunched over the driver side fender.

Here… I had to trim the Bumper Support some more, in order for the Intercooler Piping to clear.

This is looking at it from the exact angle the Intercooler Piping will enter the Intercooler.

Another view…

That’s all for now, I’ll add some more pics when I connect the install the intercooler iiping and the bumper skin

Wicked setup.[/QUOTE]

thank you sir.

I havent posted in this thread since I was looking for info on this matter, Ive since installed my inter cooler, so heres my set up, I had to trim the bumper support down to just about the top piece of stamped steel. I had enough room to weld a piece of 1/8 steel stock on the underside for support. as far as the skin goes. I had to remove quite a bit.
