very clean shit. where did you get the headliner fabric?
:werd:
I’ve had my fun with boost in friends’ cars. Mine will be all motor.
Got it from a local fabric store. Most places don’t carry grey microsuede. I searched high and low and found it in a leftover cut bin.

I’m looking forward to seeing more updates from your build Jake. Im always stopping by to see what’s new in your thread.
I’m gathering up goodies as we speak. Some nice updates are coming soon.
Hmm, i’ve been selling some stuff. Hopefully will have a fully built gsr block shortly fresh from the shop.
Since I don’t have any picture updates. I decided to take some pics of these! Found original 1992 Brochures!!
My favorite pic, I wonder why?
New addition to the build. This is my reasoning for wanting to go all motor. I cant wait to hear these!
Toyota 4AGE itb’s
Still have more fab work to do on them, then clean up the welds and paint.
Those brochures are sweet.
Wow sick! You should talk to my bro (Mike). It took a lot to get his ITB’s working but wow do they sound good. He can probably help you advice for the adapter and throttle cable.
Thanks Jon. Im definitely going to need some advise from Mike. What ecu program is he using? I’ve been hearing different reviews about which to use. Hondata seemed to be the least favorite for itb friendliness.
Hands down Hondata is the best in my opinion. I’m not sure if you are familiar with Dent Sport (DSG) but we’re definitely customers for life. Matt @ DSG tuned both of our cars (both running Hondata). The ITB’s are running and idling well with only the first tune.
original brochure for the win
Dent sports where the Rsx was tuned, so I will be going back there. Hondata is by far a good choice, but everything I’ve been reading says aem, or crome. Do you know if mike had it tuned it with a map sensor, or just got rid of it? But if hondata is running your bros just fine then I see no reason to try something else.
What a great weekend weather wise in New England. Spent all day on the Teg. Completely washed the carpets and seats. Installing most of the interior back in.
Fixed the slider for the sunroof.
Did some more work to the ITBs and painted the throttle bodies. Almost set to be installed on the head. Polished the cable bracket to be “anodized”
Messing around with them. I’m so excited to actually get these installed. Too bad it’s not going to this motor.
Their a bit longer than I wanted, but with the fuel rail and all I can’t do much. It’s also sitting against the valve cover making it look worse.
Finally a nice day to get out and work on the Teg.
Homemade tps adapter from stainless!
Didn’t think I would skip out on some CBP goodness on my Itbs now did you?
Picked up some well made finish washers. CNC aluminum in gunmetal. Testing how they looked.
Cleaned up the YS1 GSR trans I picked up. Nice and painted! Used rustolium truck bed for the black parts. Works really good, and I like the texture. Suspension parts will be recoated with this later.
Tons of work getting the ITB’s to fit. They hit the master cylinder. So I remade the bracket and flipped them around, plus went the extra mile for a perfect flow. Finally got them onto the current motor for fitment. Now that I know it fits, time to rip the oil leaker out!
Can’t wait to hear these. And more so can’t wait to clean this bay up lol
looking good man! my jaw dropped when i saw the itbs, nice pick up! cant wait to see this done.
DANG! Looks great so far, can’t wait to see whats next :tapfing:
Nice progress…ITB’s are a bitch of a project. The results are worth it though
wow!!!
Where did you get that Nardi wheel? It’s siiiickkkk. Got a part number?
