Just dropped the block off for machining!
This makes me want to post my build too. Mine is super slow as well. picked up my block last month and still haven’t put it in.
Definitely post it up!
Still waiting on the block. He’s been busy with race season, I’m not in a rush to get it back. Paint was ordered again, going with PPG deltron dbc. Supposed to be much better paint match
Since there’s no Teg updates till paint:
RSX is up for sale. Going to miss the car, but it was time for a change.
Replacement:
2013 BRZ limited. It slow in comparison. But the drive and handling is amazing. If only it had a turbo
Another busy summer, nothing but working. But, just got a new job and took a week off before starting it to do this
Figured I’d post it while I wait it to dry and wet sand
Whoa nice! Lots of progress.
Bay looks great! Keep up the good work! I’m loving that x bar!
Why are you getting rid of the RSX for a BRZ? But great work on the Teg!
As much as I love the RSX, I was spending more time working it then the Teg. Mostly just maintenance things, modded cars become a pain for daily drivers. Plus, The BRZ actually feels much more like a G2 then the RSX does to be honest. I felt right at home.
Finally!
Now if only the block didn’t turn out to be more work I have decide to bore it or get something different.
Chugging along. Brake line tuck using black A/N fittings and stainless hard lines. Decided to have the prop valve in the cowl instead of the interior. One more line to run though. Most of the suspension has been reinstalled as well. Slowly it’s coming along!
Proper. I like what you did with the brake lines!
How do you like the BRZ? The aftermarket support for that car is quite impressive.
Thanks!
I love it. A bit slower than I like, but it’s a blast on the curvy roads. I would like to do some stuff to the brz, but getting the integra done is first priority.
dude that manual is so mint. i got it in pdf form but nothing can compare to a paperback. i cant bring my desktop outside. looks good though brother
Thanks! The manual was worth it. Amazon had it for $60. I tried having a friend at staples print it up, but even at a discount it would cost more then I paid for the actual manual. Speaking of which, there are some extra wiring diagrams the PDF version didn’t have. I’ll try to get those scanned to share with the g2ic community. PDF pages are good for the dirty jobs
Itching like crazy to get this engine block back. Can’t order the rest of the parts till I have the ok that I can use my standard bore pistons. Just in time for winter :’(
The bay is looking great! Any updates on the block? I like that location of the prop valve too! Never seen that before.
