You drill out that fin on the block? Must’ve been a bitch. Looks fantastic, good luck.
yes, it was a bitch! I used a drill at first to make it easier to cut with the dremel.

Odd question…did you re-route the powersteering cooler ( i believe thats what it is) that runs from the pump to the front bumper, into some coiled pipe, then back in. Did you just eliminate it all together or what. Also how much boost are you plannin on runnin on the block
how are you getting Pressure for oil from the head?
Top left part of the head.Dealers use that port to test oil pressure.
any how does you front bumper stay on without the crash bar?
I haven’t got to that part yet, I’m gonna have to trim the ish out of the bumper support.

I didnt re-route any pipes. Those are stock pipes in there original locations.
And for the amount of boost…I am going to just stick with 7psi. I am not going to go any higher with these stock internals.
WOW…Nice DRAG Kit…I have the same set up…Only on a B18 Non VTec…All is good with mine…8 LBS…210 WHP with 450cc injectors at 71% only…I am sooo happy to be finaly BOOSTING…I paid $1,400.00 for my Kit that was like 2K miles old…Then $500 to Tune…Your set up is coming along nicely…But the har parts are yet to come…The Front Bumper…What a bitch…I have all my lines and Power Steering and A/C…Had to cut entire midle section of Bumper support…Only sides are left by the Signal lights…The middle of the bumper is just all plastic…Be safe…And any questions let me know and I will try to help the most I can…
i had the drag kit too on my B16 but i sold it i never got any numbers out of it… but im working on buying back as soon as i sell my tahoe and then im going to build the motor… here are some pics when i sold it i had 17 center lines on it
Those are some nice setups you both have!Do you guys have any pictures of the cut bumper support? And what size exhaust where you both running? I have the dinky 2 3/8 Greddy Sp.
Well…I don’t have any bumper support pics…But let’s just say that all that is holding the bumper up is the corner signal light support beams…The center was cut off…Then the bumper has these screws that screw the bumper on the top to the bumper support…It is held up nice…Just the center is a bit flexy but all is not that noticable…As you can see on the pic…As for my exhaust…I have a 3" down pipe to a 2.5 Full Stainless Steel Cat Back Exhaust made for a 2 door Teg by OBX…She sounds very nice and quiet…All pics are on General Discution …REDLINE Has Gone BOOST…Thread…Be safe…
how much are those kits? they look liek a really cheap set up… (no offence) but hopefully noone paid over 2g for those I woulda jsut saved more and gone full race
aitkenstyle…Well, I paid aguy on this site $1300.00 for the complete kit that was used with about 2,000 miles on it…Then came the install price and Tunin and some other parts…Everyway that I look at it…I saved some money…And the final outcome is that I am very pleased to be BOOSTING…
RedLine, how much total did you spend on the turbo kit? Did you install it yourself , if not, how much did you pay to get it installed? Are you pleased because your car is faster or because you get more attention because of your blowoff valve and the front mount intercooler? How much hp did you gain to the wheels? Were you able to reatin the AC unit? Do you still have power steering? What are you running for engine management? Which stage of the DRAG kit did you use?
so how hard is it to install a turbo?, I’ve got a Jdm B-18C in my teg. And have looked into turbo, but not sure what to get, thing is, if i buy a B-18c kit, would it fit in a DA…when the kit was designed for a DC2? I was looking at Rev Hard setup’s, Then the Turbonetics Setup, but then heard some bad things about a Friend who was using a turbonetics Turbo on his 675 Hp SRT-4 all he said was how bad it lagged. so im looking at either going rev hard…or piecing one together.
