err that looked like not enough torque at all damn. Oh and depending on how small your camera is have you tried putting your camera thru the headrest hole in the passenger seat? mine fits there perfectly.

hm pretty much the same setup as me…10psi on a stock b18c1. its not too torquey but enough to throw your front wheels around if you’re not holding on.

I notice that your using the same manifold I am. how did you get it? I thought they stopped making it? another thing is you should take the mani and have it thermo-coated. mine started out like that bronze color, but soon turned purple and black, so I had it coated, and not only that, it keeps the rest of the engine bay cooler.

I bought it from someone on honda-tech. If I would keep my car I may consider thermo but im selling it. I have anouther project in mind…

still up in the air. Im thinking about keeping it now. turbo timer,new bov,traction bar and coilovers are in the picture soon. like the next 2 weeks or so. Maybe some new vids.

good to hear don’t sell it man! I’ve got the Tein Basic’s and they are a good entry level coilover for semi-improved handling and great comfort. I should be boosted by hopefully Dec. or Jan. depending on my income! I’m building a spare LS block right now.

m going to be investing in some CG. pretty much b/c i need some adjustable shocks for the track next year.

looks like im getting a tad smaller turbo as well. A 60-1 t3. I like the huge compressor housing but I need a smaller turbine housing. The .84 allows me to hit full boost at 6 grand. Its a twin scroll and I dont have the twin flange on my manifold.

yeah sounds like a plan to me! i’m looking at a built ls/vtec setup with a Garrett T3/TO4E 57 trim .48 a/r looking to make 300-350whp range on 9:1 CP ratio wiesco’s! 350whp is all I want because at that point anything more is useless to me in a FWD car, so no sleeves for me.

You can get 300-350 with just an LS, you dont have to go LS/Vtec. Put the money you would spend on the head into bottom end work.

350 isnt useless. It just means you need to swap out the street tires with slicks…lol

well I am aiming my car more towards road course racing and time attack, and most turbo hondas i’ve seen running out on the track tend to have to much wheel spin coming out of the corners on just 300hp, but they say it’s not to bad with a progressive BC that way they can run down the faster cars on the straights, and most of them are running R compounds. I guess I will just have to wait and see. I wanna just go with a straight LS, but my friend keeps on saying the LS valvetrain is shit at high rpms + boost so he said why not make more power on less boost by just slapping on a vtec head. I get what he is saying but it’s not all about all out power for me.

If i was building a time attack car Id just stay N/A with a B18C 200-225whp build.

building an LS isnt a bad idea. But I think you would have to much torque. Coming out of those corners would be a waste with a 300whp ls b/c torque wouldnt be far behind.

Im going to be building an LS for 300, might do some autocross with it. If I was going for a race setup it would be N/A. So I don’t think building an LS is a bad thing, just different setups for different purposes.

but to make 200-225 all motor I will spend a hell of alot more than boosting my car. Boost does not always have to be turned up, I could get the car tune for around 230-250ish range and then hit up track days.
