I had the famous passenger side leak and it blew out my blower motor.
the cowl seals were deteriorated and most of them were missing.
I do know about foam but there are 8 seal clips down there which are deffinatly recommended to be changed out.
Just read your thread. Clean build you go going on

envious of that stock axle back.
Don’t have any pictures of the conversion but most of the steps was done from ls/vtecstitch write up ,except for pulling the motor and dash out and wiring the reverse lights.

And Due to my work schedule, My Cousin Mitch from Southern Auto Repair did the auto to manual swap at his shop. Also He was in need of my auto transmission so i opt to trade labor work for it lol.

Glad to see that it is coming along. Hope you keep this one. I still have those db1 jdm visors for sale. Let me know when you are ready to buy them.
A rust free G2? Does such a thing even exist anymore haha. What front lip is that?
Coming along great! Nice progress!
my g2 happens to be a Georgia native car , so not much snow here and its a carbon fiber jdp lip.
thanks trying too keep it going.
i still have u in mind, i heard what happened to your db2 … suks!
it be fun they said…
Not my first rodeo and this is 5th gear cruising…
Ga hwy speed limits are around 60-70 mph…
Ga city limits are 35-45 mph…
I foreshadow limited slip differential add on and a LS 5th gear in the future…
Yeah, it does suck. It’s fixable but I have an opportunity to get something else.
must be that b16 trans lol. i miss the 1st 3 gears but i dont miss that high cruising RPMs :dunno: . i almost was glad that the trans went bad…i do want to bust it open and put the 1st-3rd gears in my LS trans
its a gsr ys1, the gear ratio is similar too the jdm gsr transmissions i believe. dont get me wrong its fun too drive but on this motor that has 230k+ miles on it lol, kinda scurred …
