RICER!!! :giggle:

congrats mang, sounds like ignition issues but steal of deal never the less
I wouldn’t have it any other way. The last 2 tegs I have bought (DB2 and DB8) came with ricer tails. She said she still has them, somewhere in her garage. I may offer to help her clean the garage now so I can get them. xD I think if anything, I am going to get some transparent red paint and spray those bishes.

Thanks man! I think I will like this more than the wagon.

hahhaha!!!

No pics this update, but I had to post since I am excited.

The wagovan sold today! With teh proceeds I get my new motor this Sunday. A well put together (clayed, all OEM parts, etc) B20Vtec with 6k miles, GSR head, ITR cams. Also getting a p72 ecu and mint hytech rep tri-y.

Swapping the B17 into the DB8 this weekend, hopefully that will get it to sell faster. If anyone wants a fully running 17 that you can drive and test before you buy let me know! Has new OEM timing belt, Hondata IM gasket and all the easy seals replaced. Tell your mom, tell your friends, I need it gone! I am at the point that rare shit like the 17 means little now, would rather have the cash. Besides, the b18c1 is far better in every aspect.

As far as actual work on the integra goes, I have the front pretty much bolted together with exception to the hubs and sway bar. Can;t get the sway in because ES sent me 2 different bolts. Always something. THis next week I plan to get the wiring sorted and some power to it, when I park the DB8 I will pilfer the battery and get this going. Carpet was sprayed at one of those spray it yourself car washes. I highly recommend it, the water was looking like coffee it was so dirty.

B20vtec! sounds awesome!
:pixstfu: Lets see um!

^^^ x2

Twenty FTW hahaha welcome to where the grass is ā€œgreenerā€ haha

Haha I can’t get picks of the motor because it is in Denver, I get it this Sunday.

Rabi, that short little drive where we were giggling like little girls is what convinced me to get the B20. Man that was fun! BTW, do you have any 92-93 LS clusters or tachs in your pile of parts? I don’t like the 8200 redline with the b20.

Since school is out, I am reorganizing the garage today. My wife is babysitting so I have a little gang to help me out. NO hazardous chemicals or anything, don’t worry!

I’ll take pics of the carpet all cleaned.

Lastly, I called ES up. They are a little abrupt, but even after I offered to pay for a new bolt or send the other back, they are giving me a new bolt shipped free. Way to go Energy Suspension customer service!

That’s going to be a fun swap you have there.

B20v with ITR cams sounds tastey as well.

Yea carl Im off Wednesday. Thursday and Sunday! so I will check and holla back at you!

I was talking with Jake on Facebook, and I think I’m going to come down on Saturday and give you guys a hand! So call me when you get a chance yo

Lucky son-of-a…

Hey guys, I need help with mine as well… want to make a trek down this way? Its only like 10hrs?

Haha, I would so be down for that if I didn’t have a gazillion other things going on right now :frowning:

MY manifold being first on that list

LOL damnit!

Good stuff going down in these threads, as always.

What are the plans for engine management as of now? The stock P72? Or, hopefully, some tuning?

It’s pretty far towards the top

Awesome I will see you Sunday!

Oh hell yeah! You guys are always welcome, we can just chill if you want! Jake dislocated his shoulder on his BMX. He said he would still help, tough guy lol. But damn he should be at home resting not wrenching! If you guys do come down we can do 5G burgers. I can’t spell it out, as it really doesn’t look right no matter how I phrase it. LOL!

Dude, you have no idea. xD It is absolutely good times, and I have expert help! If you have ever seen me turn a wrench, you would know I am by far getting the better end out of the deal! But it is summer soon, so I can come up and stay the night and help out on their projects!

Regarding tuning, I have nothing. I do have a AFC Neo, but I shouldn’t say that anywhere near ā€œtuningā€. I just thought it had a really cool display and got it for cheap. SO I am going to run the P72 with the Neo funtioning as a vtec controller with a nifty display. Maybe if I got a wideband I could play with it a little. Plans are for Neptune, but that might be a ways away.

Definitely does sound like good times man.

I’m assuming the P72 will work well enough… but id look into possibly getting a basemap from a reputable tuner or, naturally, throwing it on the rollers and getting it tuned properly. Not telling you anything you don’t know, just saying lol.

FOr sure man, everything is great advice! I am just done with throwing money into the car. A good tuning soluton will set me back 500, another 200 or so for a wideband and x amount for dyno time. Add fuel, and I am over 1000. When the car is ā€œdoneā€ (at least this amount of upgrades), she will be getting no more monies thrown into her for at least a year or 2. Had to pick and choose, at first it was suspension and tuck, then I sold the wagon and spent the profit on the motor, effectively breaking even.

Basically I have kids, and my wife and I promised ourselves that the kids will ALWAYS be in extra-curricular activities. And damn that shit is pricy. I am at the point that if necessary I will sell shit off the DB before the kids don’t have something going on. Plus this year I WILL be getting my house. So the car will be incomplete not running properly, but fuck the car if it benefits the family. At the same time, the DB2 IS family, but like a lesser member. LIke a loveable dog or gerbil, just more expensive. SOrry for the rant. LOL!

Hahaha totally understandable and completely respectable. Good to see people with responsibilities get stuff taken care of and prioritize things.

I’ve been needing to save for a tune on my ride, yet as you said, there is always something else more important in ā€˜real life’ that could use the money more than the car. sigh Sad as that may be.
