Indeed… I still need ball-joints, replace the oil pan gasket, paint the cat with hi-temp stuff, sand and buff the car… throw on some wheels (finally decided what I’m going with)… etc etc. It still needs quite a bit if I’m honest.
Glad yours is coming along though! Re-hosting is a whore, but, we’re worth the trouble

Man if I were closer I would love to help. What wheels? Are you going to rock those Rota regamaster replica’s? I love those wheels!
Haha I got lucky and just had to wait for my monthly bandwidth limit to reset. I took off my gif sig and have not had any trouble. I do miss it though. This is what caused all the trouble. If you are looking at the flickering, you are doing it wrong.
Hahaha… what flickering? I could see how that would kill your bandwidth though…
My brother traded his Regamaster knock-offs for some Konig Retracks with brand new tires. Now he says he don’t like them lol. He said we will work out a deal, so as it sits I will be rocking those… I believe in a 16x7 flavor.
Crappy picture, but you get the idea… and being 16s with 50-series tires, the dreaded DA wheel-gap should be lessened quite a bit grin

Damn those look good! They will look nice on your car.
Speaking of dreaded DA wheel gap, I need to sell my suspension.
Well the giggling has stopped lol. Suspension is not where I want it. I spoke too soon, the rears are perfect, the fronts are not. Basically I can go up or down with the rear 2", the front is at max low. So it looks ghey. Not the end of the world, I just need to sell these and pick up another suspension. Because basically my car is dropped 2-3" in front and won’t go anymore, I still need to go another inch or so. Ah well, struts are super easy to change. I will say that the offset is perfect though.
Here are some pics of how she sits right now. Rear is perfect along with the camber. I actually raised the rear almost an inch to match the fronts a little better. Basically I want to tuck an inch or so of tire. So if anyone needs Tein Basics for 92-95 EG in great condition or at least the fronts let me know! I would love to trade for DA specific suspension. Car is durty durty.
Sorry for the late response. I let the thread die as I haven’t done anything to the DB2, family, school and I got a new DD DA and have put a bunch of work int o that.
Basically all the wiring that was not needed was pulled into the cab and a big bundle was wrapped together and mounted on top of the Non AC duct. I did not want to cut anything out and risk a short. The ABS wiring, relays, AC was done this way. So technically it is not deleted, just moved out of sight.
However, I did leave out a 6 or 8 pin AC plug in the passenger fender, I was told I may want to use this down the road for a switchable map for the Hondata.
About the same man… With the weather changing the car is on the back burner also.
Just dealing with regular, daily life.
Glad to hear that things are going well with the DD, and the project as well. Updates on the DD?
Basically all I did to the daily was replace broken parts, fender liner and I painted the front bumper so the car is all the same color now. I need to wetsand the entire car and it should be looking pretty good. All the car really needs is a new interior door handle and front lip and it will be doing pretty well.
I got the last of my parts from hondaparts unlimited, going to be putting in work on the DB2 soon. I really want to hear her run before the year is out. Basically all I have to do is get her running and the car is complete.
updates out of the blue! Even if they are minor.
Got my order from hondapartsunlimited. Basically got some more hoses in, brackets installed etc. Glynn came over and did some work, thanks man for motivating me to work on her. I did install the new valve cover and rounded up all the timing belt covers and got those in. So we had to re-time the motor to get the covers in. Lastly the resonator has been measured and marked and is on its way up north for some tender loving.
Lame pics, this is getting old I know. Car is so close to being done it is ridiculous that it isn’t. I am going to bring a grinder over to mount the battery tray in the trunk, then last big thing is cutting and looping the powersteering lines.
Damn your red valvecover!
Nice to see some work put in regardless of how ‘minor’ it is.
I’ll be sure to check back, I want to see how you handle the PS line situation.
xD I’ve wanted one of these since I was 16 lol. Finally!
At this point any work done to the car is good work!
Thank you sir!
Just got home from working on the car. Trans and steering rack are filled with fluid, looping the rack is done. Did a bit more work but it is not worth the time to explain
The looped rack, start to finish. Hopefully it doesn’t leak.
Last catch can is in place. Waiting on filters.
And more of the bay. Sorry for spamming a valve cover that has been oem since 96, just excited to see it coming together.
And that’s it. I am going to get what I need to finish the wiring tomorrow.
Thanks so much for all your help last night! That was pretty cool to see everything come together in one night.
Fuel system is all hooked up. Battery is securely mounted and all wiring is completed and hooked up. All grounds have been double-checked. Engine is filled with fluids, trans is topped off. S300 has been uploaded with a B20VTEC tune I downloaded from Hondata. I did manage to mess with the S300 gauges and got them looking cool
Basically the car is done and ready to be fired up. WOuld of had that done last night but my spark plug wires are in storage, oops! I am going to go through the car and double check wiring and torque, then fire her up. The only thing keeping me from dropping the car on its own weight is a lack of a resonator at this point.
SO I am going to be working on little things here and there then getting her going. It just needs the interior put back together, suspension bits that need preloading torqued, and misc covers put in place. Really a good days work and it should be running.
Here are a few pics, and some of my new wingless DA. I’ll post more of the white one when I get her all cleaned up.
Battery mount. Plain jane but solid and works.
Cab wiring. One wire has no slack and I will need to get a longer one. ECU is out to upload the map. Do any of you run around with the USB in place? Would be nice to just be able to plug in my laptop at will.

Yes, I keep a USB extension cable plugged in, capped and zip tied securely in place.
