Type R JIC FLA-2
Just about finished my intercooler tanks tonight. Got a few snaps of them next time i will finish the drivers tank because it is kind of complex and i have designed a velosity stack type wall inside the tank to promote air flow inside the tank that basically does a 180 degree turn… SOOOON it will be done…
Looks amazing man. You’re my motivation, even though i’m not going out crazy like this

Today i finished making my final tank. I also made a velosity bar which in theory should pull the air around its surface. Now i know its over kill but hey i can build it so why not try it right? Anyways check it out let me know what you guys think on this one…

Thanks man its been a long time…! Its like yesterday we were in Portland for WCM. Maybe one day again this year…
Ok making good progress now got my intercooler pipes finished today!!! Now all i have left is the downpipe, rad tubes, some wiring wire tuck ect, fuel system and all that fun stuff. Oh yeah i am going to make a roll cage aswell i figured why not keep going hahaha…
The rad tubes are a nice touch, but the whole setup looks very nice.

yeah i guess i am a sucker then, would have probably been able to buy may different cars from then till now but i love my DA and its pretty much a one of a kind and i cant get any money back out of it so i may aswell keep it haha…
its been a while again but i have all my piping done just need to build the underside downpipe and connect the 3.5 inch from the turbo to the 3 inch exhaust i have already built. New rad tubes and well on to wiring and plumbing my 5 gallon Meth kit for that added safty and power. My goal is to have it run by the end of the month … I hope…

Just curious, why did you choose to make your charge piping out of SS instead of alum??
I’m definitely loving the intercooler as well.
i like stainless steel, it looks better than alluminum. I know it holds in heat more but whatever the car will produce some stoopid power so i am sure i wont really notice a difference hahahaha… Also i can monitor the pre cooler charge air and the throttle body air temp and i am sure the intercooler is soooooo efficient that haveing the ss piping wont hinder the air charge too much… Thanks for the compliments guys.
