That Is Sick Thats The Best Idea Ive Ever Seen
will the bumper even clear that beast of an intercooler
Bumpz.
Lets see some more close up pic of the piping and it’s route, please.
I’ve been harboring the idea of the same setup.
But in my case, I’m retaining the AC and PS system.
stock DSM… its what i used to have:shock:
thanks… only had to cut a little bit out of the rad support… it was useless metal anyways.
I will not be using a bumper support or any crash bars. its not my daily, so im not to worried. if i wreck its getting trashed any ways
with a little shaving it will… but im doing that today

will deffinatly get more for you today
Thanks!
BTW, what’s the depth of that intercooler?
You should add these pics to the “intercooler” thread.
-r0nie.
I’m glad you decided to post it here I think thats the first time I’ve seen anybody on the board tun theirs like that
good idea, but visually how will it look w/ the IC so far off center?
bumper on… may need a little more trimming
had to get hood pins becuase the hood latch was in the way.
[QUOTE=db2;1866844]Thanks!

wheres that thread… id be glad to
its 3" deep
yeah i havent seen much, did not know you posted on here.
its off, but im not sweating it, its still getting lots of air.
close pics of my pipe setup, starting at turbo-ic-tb.
Off turbo- 90" 2.5.
to a turbonetics custom u bend-(blue coupler hooks to intercooler)… got it for free:ohyeah:
you can see it here(turbonetics U bend)
then to Intercooler(refer above)
then it leaves the intercooler through the top and hits a 90 2.5" coupler
then goes through a 22" peice of pipe (2.5")
to a 90" 2.5 at the TB
turbociv910, thanks for the pics, very interesting.
Which radiator are you using… I’ll be using a fluidyne full length w/2 slim fans.
I’m not too worries about it being off centered being that it’ll be painted black.
I’ll find that thread with the intercooler and link it here.
stock civic rad/ off a 99 model
make sure you get one of the puller fans from a auto parts store, my stocker could keep my rad cool enough and as soon as I put my front bumper back on yesterday, my car started to overheat with my half-size rad. So I pick up one of those fans and it fixed my overheating problem!
its a pusher from the out side, i will try it out to see how it works, thanks for pointing out that valid point!
Here is the thread I mentioned.

I guess it specifically for the 92-93 bumpers…but will be useful regardless.
cool thanks. posted
where do u get the cooler from and can u please measure it up thickness tank size etc. plz
in previous posts i mentnioned it was a 3" core.
but i ordered it from a shop who sells procharger stuff
Yeah this is my favorite DA forum. I’d rather not have the hoodpins like yours has, but after watching slodsm’s video where he blew up his lsvtec his hood would have blown off without them.
yeah… 300 shot with je 12.5 comp and stock ls rods… that shiz was movin though!
yeah i dont mind the hood pins… i dont have a hood latch assembly… i needed something.
