theres gotta b away around it… im gonna try
i wouldnt know, ive never had those bars on there… i took them off way before i put thte turbo on there.
how do u find the car goes with the smaller radiator aswell in aust we have big long radiators not the civic ones…
i dnt know what its like for u guys…
i dnt think its going to be a great problem and im sure people wouldnt even notice those bars removed.
with them removed did u cut them off or did u simply unbolt them…
because i was looking at these (not in detail of removing them) but structually and i dnt see how it would effect the car at all because its a bar going up and down…
im hoping there a unbolt job r they???
yes they unbolt…
civics come with half sized radiators… you see them running 2.0 motors on stock radiators, it should be fine… so far no problems.
thats tits…
even if it was a street car (like mine will be) with this intercooler type. u can always bolt it bak on and remove the cooler and then get it re registered…
thats really good…
do the turbo and manifold fit with the full size radiator just remove the thermo???
im keen to just keep the factory radiator thats all
i couldnot use stock radiator becuase i had to move the civic rad over about 2 inches. stock rads would be int he way, or you can cur your frame rails.
this car is legala nd has a valid inspection… there is no check list for crash bars.
turbociv910- do you have pics of your old setup with the dsm smic ?
mines a 92 da9 and those bars cant be unbolted but it looks like the radiator is just moved accross with a smaller condenser on the a/c ie. the size of the radiator u can put it through i think…
any feed back???
