GRUMBLE GRUMBLE
Sooo… I have not been driving my G2 much lately… I have been neglecting it… I let my brother drive it one day because I needed his truck to move… and now something is wrong with it. I say “something” because I don’t know what. The car sounds like it has a dead cylinder (maybe) It runs but it runs rough… no knocking noises… but it doesn’t sound right (hard to explain the sound).
I have stuff coming in to replace the distributor guts, plugs and wires… I hope the rotor is just worn and I am not out of a short block… grrrr…

Given the nature of the damage, I am hesitant to drive it anywhere right now…I would like to think that if the bearing is spun, I still have a chance at salvaging the head… 
The car is down in South Grand Prairie for now… and I can’t get down there until the weekend.
What motor is in it? I can come maybe sunday after around 2:00pm if that is cool? I have a meeting on Saturday and church Sunday morning.

Hope to see everyone there. Jerome will not be there, his wife and new baby will be going out of town tomorrow, so tonight is family night at his house.

I still don’t have my Integra running… and I got my hours cut at work (~25% of my monthly income is now gone)… so I am not doing a thing extra with cars right now 
On the brighter side of things… the compression test was encouraging… ~160 across all cylinders… a little low, but I think the timing is a little messed up too… maybe I will be able to put my hands on the car this week since I get off from work at 130pm… :rolleyes:
Integra is back up… but also still down.
The problem? One of the spark plug boots had a hole burned through it from the wire arcing across to the cylinder head. New plugs./… new wires… all better… the car is still down because I have no money and the inspection went out in August and the registration is out as of two days ago I MAY have it back on the road by Christmas…

Probably not agina until after 08 has started… I am just too short on time and money to do much of anything right now… problems at work only make it worse.
id like to make it out to a meet up. but dont think my rs is anything worth looking at. speaking of looks, can anyone point me to a good body shop? ive got some minor body work that needs to be done and a basic paint job is also needed.
maybe an import body shop that does a good job at a reasonable price. shoot me an email s0berr@aol.com

ask anyone here, we go for the friendship, not for the looks. Ya its cool to have a nice looking car. And some of us do, but I have an “unintentional” two tone white db1. With chips the size of pennies int the paint down to metal.
I think we are waiting for janurary to come along before the next meet.
As for body shops, the only nice ones I have been to, cost a fortune and they mainly do domestic.
