yeah i guess im stuck on the first impression thing. great to hear the meet will resume start of next year. maybe ill have some bodywork done by then.
Damn… with the way my work has been, I have had NO money… my inspection expired in August and registration in November… and we will not get our hours back (got cut to 35) until Feb 3… so it looks like it will be February before the G2 sees any sort of road duty… hell… even my registration is expired on my daily driver 
And as far as looks go… my G2 looks OKAY… so long as you ignore the mirrors (paint stripped to the plastic) and the clear coat that is stripping away from the roof… I still LOVE the car… and I still want to make it a real project/fun car in the future…

NO. Weather is so “iffy”, and people might not show. You can tell because if you sent your question on the 5th, and here it is going on the 11th, there is a 99% chance that no one will show. Lets all wait til March. I’m sure by that time my buddy Al and a couple of other folks can show as well.:umno:

I wish I had checked for this 3 days ago! Today would have been great, espceially with the great weather. I myself would like to set up something for this coming Saturday, March 8. This will be my final showing. I just got on with a job and I will no longer have weekends off.:mad: My only off days look to be thursdays and fridays (I’m scheduled to work nights). But besides me, we need more responses from others in the DFW area! Hello…I know its just just not us two!!!

I guess thats for anyone else to respond…I’m done. I did manage to meet with a new G2 owner and I left him information about the meets. He knows of another G2 owner with a green DA that frequently goes to Tony’s Pizza on Saturdays. Next Saturday will be my last weekend off, so I’ll try Tony’s Pizza again around 10:30 pm and let the word out about the 15th. I will also inform my friend Al (who has not finished building his block for high boost). I have tried to make contact with Adrian, but still no response.
I dont want you to be out there by yourself, but for me, I enjoyed the times and look forward into the future for my first set of vacations (or another good paying gig with weekends off) to return back to the meets. Until then, good hunting and best of luck on keeping the G2 meets alive for DFW!:nobody:
I seriously don’t think anyone else is even looking at this thread anymore. I won’t make a meet for the 15th without others at least posting that they can make it. I also just got a new job, and am not sure what days I will have off. Hopefully it will have weekends off, but I doubt it.

I am back… I have had many computer headaches… and I am tired of the “other” Honda people I have been around. My G2 is currently registered but not inspected…
I won’t be in town on the 15th and the 22nd is my MIL’s birthday, so I probably out for this month and the early parts of April… but I should be at the next GTG… I should have the G2 inspected by then and hopefully will have tracked down the vacuum leak to fix my 2000rpm idle…
I am sorry for dumping you guys out while messing with th Civic people… most of the people I have been around with the Civic are the exact types of Honda people that I hate… I miss sitting around with a bunch of old farts talking about G2 stuff
