well i just got my g2 and joined just a week ago. The whole wait a week before posting thing. :))
I wouod be down for a minimeet… but like I said… my schedule is so full right now… 
anyone know where the new super target off 360 is? if so people meet up every wednesday night around 10. More than just g2s but there are a few g3s and I think 2 other DAs
As learned from a different site… that GTG is a little under what I like in meets… it is a street racing type GTG that I little interest in…
please explain that… I dont know what you mean by GTG unless you mean got to go. and I can understand what you mean by the street racing types. but there arent really any like HIGHLY modified cars and they race a lil but thats why we are at a place that we have permission to be at. they race on the highway away from us so we dont catch any of the heat.

One picture should explain why I hate street racing… and no, there is nothing you can do to be “safe” while racing on the street…

I can understand that. Everyone cool with the 10th? If so, lets shoot for that day.
As for the different meets. Its cool to go to others, but my main focus is g2 only meets. I just have no interest in mods that will not fit my car.
Unless something BIG comes up… I am down for the 10th… I doubt anything BIG will come up

The Target meet, as discussed on a different board, is your typical stupid street racer/ricer meet… bunch of kids in a parking lot trying to show who has the bigger balls by putting everybody around them at risk…

Honestly the ones at super target are the ones that are civilized. A few of them race but not others at the meet. They race when they are just out cruising and someone wants to show up next to them. But yes point taken on them being kids. Most of them are either in High school or Going to TCC just down the street. I Try to go because they used to meet at the starbucks over off Mayfield till cops were coming because like 90 street races in one night. The ones that ended up going to target are the ones that were trying not to get messed with by the cops because others wanted to ruin it. There is like 2-3 guys there that will pull an occasional e-brake but then it’s over.
Sober- if you would like to go, there are only like 2 people there with g2’s. Both Red, One is mine and one is some kid with a GS-R Swap. I would be happy to meet you up there if you like. Be happy to see some more DA’s out there.
Other than that, where is the meet you guys are talking about. I might try to get my friend to come because he wants a G2. But at the moment he is driving a 89 CRX with a B18A1 swap.
I will say that what I have heard about is a meet at Pioneer/Mayfield and 360… but what they tak about is street racing down at the ST on 360… Wednesdays are a suck ass night for me or I would possibly roll down in my FA5 to visit with you guys…

Monthly news: Sooo… the DA9 may or may not be at this one… I need to get it inspected… and my time down in GP is limited (that is where the car is)… so I may make another appearance in the Civic… but you guys understand.
Ok, if anyone is gonna go tomorrow possibly. It is at the Marshall’s a friend of mine works there and some how got to be good friends with the CEO and Manager of the place. They gave him permission to hold meets there at closing time (written permission) as long as there aren’t a lot of tread marks being left. So basically these are the kids that wont be burning rubber all over the parking lot. If anyone needs directions it is really simple.
I’ll give the directions from I-20 and 360.
Go south on 360 pass green oaks and all the way down to Sublett Rd. Hang a left and continue on till you see the other side of 360 and keep going. You should see a sign for Chili’s and 24 Hour Fitness. Go in and keep going till you get to the Marshall’s. Everyone will be in the parking lot around 10-10:30ish. I will be there eventually. If it is just not your scene. Then ok leave. (not being rude just no other way of putting it.) I wont be upset. I have only barely met you guys. Like the site. Like the forum set-up. I would like to get to know you guys. Ever since I got this car I have had a better reality on 2nd gen Integras.

I have not really done much with it other than collect spam so far.
I think I would vote for not wasting money… that is a pretty obscure reference to be used for a domain… maybe something for north texas g2 owners would be better spent…
