Finally made it back… I don’t know that there are enough Texas peeps yet to do it… but I am sure with a drive to get new people interested (busines cards) and some good tech section stuff (see my next comments) we could get a group of local G2 owners going.
I have a big announcement…
My G2 will be going for inspection next weekend!!! I fixed my idle issue today and the car will actually hold a 700rpm idle for the first time since I took ownership!!! So yes… as nasty and beat down as she is right now, she will be at the May 10th GTG!
Yeah I should be there as well. I just live about 15 minutes away in West Fort Worth. See ya there!
If all goes as planned (read: ups is ontime) I shall “wear my tophats” to the meet. Though I may be sans a tribar, if it takes too much time this Saturday.
And I have a prize to go to one lucky g2 owner. Casey, wanna help decide who gets it? Or should I just randomly pick?

My Civic got hit last night while I was asleep… I don’t know if I will have the $$$ to get the Teg ready before the GTG now

How bad is the Civic? Hopefully still drivable. You need to be able to get to and from work.
Even if its not running before the meet, as long as you can be there, its all good.

The car is drivable… but the deductible is going to eat up my DA money It really looks like a motorbike ran into the back of the car… so it is not bad at all, but the trunk may be replaced since it is bent at the edge…
Did anyone else realize this was MOther’s Day weekend? I am thinking my wife may want me to spend time with her family and mom… any chance of getting a late “delay of game” to the following week

I guess we could, though all my mday stuff is Sunday. My wife and kids may not be back till Saturday anyway so this might be a better weekend than the next. I could stay out later if there was a good turnout.
But if it means no one can come, then ya the next weekend is cool I guess.
I’m still good to go. I’ll Try to talk to those guys on Wednesday night if I see them again. One guy traded his for a 3rd gen with jdm front clip already put on. I was upset. I had to leave that meet the other night though because some kid was telling me how he beats 2nd gen gs-r’s on spray in his single cam civic. (GS-R on spray, Him w/o)
