the issue isn’t a lack of a car… it is doing the mothers day thing with the inlaws…

Personally, I would like to have the meet this Saturday, being that there are a few new guys here that say they can make the meet, and seem to mean it.
DFW, is there no way you can get out of the stuff with your inlaws? Maybe come to the meet late?

sure, why not, I get the same thing. I think I have a bad ground though. Starter is good as good gets. battery is still kickin even though it shouldnt be anymore.

Ironic…I am having electrical issues as well. This Optima battery I have in my car SUCKS! I had it replaced on a 3 year warranty two weeks ago, and it is bone DEAD! Now my alternator is messed up and I had to purchase a new one yesterday. I’m hoping to have it installed today. I already had to ditch the Optima battery for an Interstate.
…but, no excuses for the meet. I’ll be there, but will be boostin’ out early around 8:30. Anybody know any bad stories about Optima, please let me know, cause I want to make a complaint to that company!
Hmmmm… my battery is having issues staying charged too… I might have to warranty my interstate as a result 
On another note… my Civic goes to the body shop on Tuesday… the insurance company changed the claim from comprehensive to uninsured (hit-and-run is always uninsured), so my out-of-pocket went from $500 to $250 AND they are giving me a rental despite my lack of rental coverage… part of the unisured policy through allstate…
so… with any luck… the FA5 will be back to normal in a week…

DFWBlackLS, you missed the biggest meet turn out to date. Shame on you!
I am not sure about you guys, but I had lots of fun, and met some new people. If we can keep this up, we may have to move the meet to a bigger parking lot.
Lets keep this up, hopefully we can get more DAs out. Got 2 that live down the street will be printing flyers shortly.
