you could always give me some info on where you live. I have plenty of time till I get a job and I would be willing to do the work REALLLLLLL cheap. Mainly for more experience on the motor work. Get to know this engine left and right.

I would be working on it… but I live in Euless and the car is in Grand Prairie at my mom’s… so I just have not had time with the 17 mile drive.

Not RC cars, full sized cars that are modified with electric motors instead of their original engine. Which brings me to another thought, if you did something like that, what class would you be in? XXX Modified or some such higher end class? BTW I made that class up, unless its really a class, in which case I didn’t. 
I hate it when I have a project in my head like this.
Anyone going to Ennis this Saturday for the Texas Import shootout? Car show and drag race. A lot of classes in the race event, they even have an SRT4 class (whats that all about).
Not a big drag racer when it comes to imports. I like turns.
If I had my old hot rod, I would probably go, but it is not worth it if I do not have anything to race.
Besides, my car only does mid 16’s in the 1/4mile. Its pathetic.
June 21st is a bust for me… I am going on a drive with some friends out some where towards Wichita Falls… you guys could come along if you wanted (it is an all day drive on fun roads) or we can reschedule to like the 28th. Your call.
while the drive sounds cool, I am not sure many would want to drive. Gas money or other reasons. Congress (wife) says she is cool with me doing both.

I myself say a little earlier. June 14 is a much better time.
June 14th is the day before Father’s Day and I don’t want to find myself in a situation like I did in May.
As for the drive… there is a bit of secrecy to the whole thing because we don’t like letting the info out and letting undesirables in on the details (both LEGAL ISSUES and douchebag issues)… so this is what there is…

Well fellas, it is a sad time for me. Friday, I spun a rod in the Integra and my block seized. I sold my Civic earlier this year and my DA was my only means of transportation. I will more than likely have to source out another LS block, but I am wanting to build what I have now. With a new job that I will be starting Monday, I will have to find ways to get to work (and public transportation is some of it). Any help to find a block for the low low would be alot of help.

I just received a substantial amount of funds to build my block after the spun rod incident. Need help from you guys to aquire some new performance pistons and rings, rods, bearing and sleeve guard. Nothing too fancy but definitly not stock. I do not have a credit card to go online and buy, so I need to know if anyone knows a shop locally or if someone is selling any new parts for a decent cost.
Please respond if you have any connections. Your help is greatly appreciated.

On a serious note, no contacts here, might look at HT though lots of deals maybe someone local too.
Local shops will cost you more… you might be better off getting a GIFT visa or discover card… you can charge them up with money and then make your purchases online…
Thanks fellas, a friend had me go to raceeng.com out of Florida and buy my parts there through C.O.D. I was able to order the parts needed for this project (total $1,070) and will be sent to me friday by UPS, and will give them a money order when delivered. Will keep you guys posted throughout the week!
