NO! Dont say that Op207. We have been staulling this out far too long. But since we have low particapation, we need to round out a list of who all will attend this time. D/FW G2 owners need to sound off. Gas is too high for us to plan a meet and only 2 people show.
We need at least 4-5 second gens to commit to a meet so it wont seem like a bust. If second gen owner is reading this whether you are a G2 member or not, type in and sound off so we can keep the G2 meets alive.
I was so close to giving up on my DA and purchasing another car, but my loyalty and so much love for the second gen had placed me in a position to where I am broke, but happy with what I have invested in.
You dont have to have the love like I do to my second gen, but if you are an owner and you are reading this forum, there has to be some kind of care in your heart to try and keep things going.
We are here just like the 60s VW Bug owners, like Chevy Corvette owners, even the defunked Deloreon owners are keeping there favorite alive. Lets keep it rolling so that the DA/DB is not a forgotten car!

It is not that I don’t love my G2, but married life has me worked right now. I can’t seem to get away to go do car stuff anymore and I have not played with or even washed my G2 at all this year!!! Like I said before… inspection on it ran out in August of 2007!!!
I still have plans for it… I still want to make it my project car… I just need more time… 
Tuning day with Tony Palo of T1
Well the time has finally arrived. I text Op207 on what I thought were the end result, but Tony went back on the dyno to extract more power with 16 lbs of boost. The final number with this t3/t4 has netted a total power of 328.1hp and 240.2tq. Boost has been dropped down to 13lbs @ 298.4 for daily use.
The power was very fun! I drove back from Rowlett on I30 and had to do a 2008 Mugen Civic sedan, after he kept on begging me to tear him a new @$$. I gladly seperated from him with at least 8 car lengths between us (sorry DFWblack).

Sorry? The Civic is a blast, but it weighs ~3000lbs and puts down like 180 on the dyno… the Integra weighs like 2700 and yours is putting down 298??? That dude was a douche and deserved getting spanked!

i feel obligated to tell you guys…cause i loved my g2 so much, hell all of my g2s ive loved them all, but i was in a baaaaad wreck where it was totalled last weekend. i may or may not get another g2, we’ll see. ill be back as im still recouping my legs from the accident.
Damm,sorry to hear about that. Were you fully covered? Who was at fault and how severe are your injuries? Thank goodness that the devil took your car and God kept you alive. I will pray for your recovery…
Hurts to hear someone else going through somethng like that… I have lost the last two cars to wrecks, but I was fortunate enough to not suffer any serious injuries. I hope your recovery is quick and complete.

I had a wreck in my G2 last month (was merged into) but it was nothing like that.
As for a meet, I am up for any of those days BJS mentioned. I realize DFW cannot make a meet in September, but anyone else have a date they can make?
We could always do a meet on Sept 6th, DFW, you doing anything that weekend? Its 2 weeks from Saturday.

Hey, guys, I made my posts on Car Domain to all the second gens in the D/FW area about the meet. Looking at some of the dates they last updated, that alot of owners have abandoned their page.
I did manage to find several still active and two have responded to me by email claiming they are coming.
The 6th sounds great. The 5th is GearBox’s release party for Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway. That weekend should be pretty cool.
I should get my new lens in the mail today. I’ll bring it and my camera out to take some pictures of whomever comes out and their car if they want.
BJS, you know I will be taking some pics of your setup. 
Since I would like to have my DA for my move the following weekend, there is some chance it will make it our (finally) to this… I just need to swap the horn and get it inspected…
