Did you end up getting CDN carpet from someone off here? I need to pick one up for my car and get rid of this horrible aftermarket carpet kit that sucks balls.

whats the difference in US and CDM carpet?
They have different holes in them which corresponds to seat belt mounting locations. If you have auto belts you want carpet from an autobelt car, if you have manual belts you want carpet from a manual belt car.

i just thought i would tell you how the brake booster delete is working for me… its great !!! i said it was a little harder to break, but thats all i drove around town all day yesterday with no problems

burt thanks man, i didnt think of that. i have 92-93 tails but i think they were painted all red, because when I bought the car it looks like someone tried to sand it off. maybe ill try and pick up a clean set

man ryan i don’t know about a brake booster delete here in CA. you know how people drive on the highways, just thinking of your safety!
its just like getting used to a stiffer clutch except with your right leg.
its harder to push, yes. is the braking ability diminished at all? no, the feel is actually increased 10 fold and you can feel lock-ups much earlier. id say i brake better without the booster. (my pBox actually proves that its better, i stop at a much greater g-force on average than i did with a booster, its progressive now, its not a sneeze-pedal.
once youre strapped into a seat with a harness and you can use all of your leg muscle to push the pedals (and to not hold yourself in place during turns), it gets much easier to daily drive an aggressive street car. i have had no booster for nearly a year with a setup similar to the chasebays kit using a design that i originally made for a previous car and tweaked a new one to fit the DA. ive also got 11" front setup and no ABS. i will say ryan, if you havent done any other brake mods i would suggest waiting until you do, i ran no booster on an otherwise stock setup when i first got my DA and it was kinda dangerous, 2 different ABS modules ended up seizing and it pulled to the passenger side (i dont know if this was a caliper/rotor/pad issue, but it wasnt there before the booster delete)
but i definitely recommend it once you get/if you have some substantial brakes
also, my right leg is now as toned from driving as my left leg was from the heavy clutch. there was this small muscle up the back of only my left thigh that was Hulk’ed out but now im even and have that same shit on the right haha

yuri- I know whatcha mean. I figured heck Ill give it a try and see. honestly i want the engine bay to have a clean look. if I dont like the way it brakes I can always source out another brake booster and go back.
omg weasel- thanks for the info. yes I have all new braking componets that i will be installing soon once my engine bay gets shaved, prepped and painted. right now all of my front suspension is off the car.
