Eye Candy

We have a ton of projects to complete this upcoming month, and I had to take a pic of the artillery. The whole family is there…t3/67, sc61, sc50, t3/to4e, t3/60 trim, and a lil ole t25 that may end up on my beater…Enjoy

What are those things? Are those VTEC?

Why are you laughing? I see those things on show cars all the time. They’re always on cars with VTEC on the engine.

Yes, VTEC is the worlds largest manufacturer of turbochargers. They make the best turbos in my opinion

When they start to spool and make boost, that’s when the true VTEC technology shines.

Nice turbos. can I have one? I’ll trade you my SC34 for one of the big ones?

Yeah that’s what I thought. I knew those guys with Hondas were lying when they said they didn’t have turbos

it looks like a conch.

Do you blow it to keep the engine cooler?

for your hair, silly.

no dual bb? psh.

weak.

:stuck_out_tongue:

hah, cmon now, we just sold/installed 2 GT3071’s this past month. But thats some ole balla shit…

You’re a chode dude. VTEC stands for Variable Timing by Electronic Control. The car changes timing as the RPM’s increase. It switches cams when the VTEC kicks in and allows the engine to reach outstandingly high rev limits. For example, a normal generation 2 Integra (LS,RS,GS), came from the factory with a B18A1 which is a non-VTEC equipped engine. Well, since the engine is non-VTEC, it’s redline is 6750 RPM on the stock computer. Now, the generation 2 Integra GSR is a B17A1 and this engine is equipped with VTEC so the redline is extended to about 8400 RPM. Get the idea? A turbo is a power adder and does not come on any modern Hondas :-(. That is why people on here are talking about adding turbos and superchargers. Correct me if I’m wrong.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA  x3972743786503297584365079347508734050342

fukin n00bs.

omfg.

what i couldn’t do with you right now…

sadly, it’s time for supper, and my bacon won’t wait. consider yourself lucky, you stupid fuckslap.

I was waiting for some idiot to say something like that. Look at when I joined. Do you think I’ve been around for 3 years and never picked up on the concept of VTEC?

EDIT: And YOU my friend are the chode. Rock-on buddy.

you’re :bs:ing Scott… VTEC’s only been around for a few months.

Thankyou captain obvious. Actually you are wrong though. VTEC stand for Variable valve timing and electronic lift control.

ElBorintegra86: “switches cams”
ElBorintegra86: and he was talking to scott…come on now
ElBorintegra86: we don’t have cd changers in our engines…

When my mom drives my S2000 she says, “Tim, I used ‘The VTEC’ today to get on the highway. It was Scary.”
