Finally done(with pics)

Well it’s finally finished. The turbo project is done, except for the exhaust, but nothing wrong with an open down pipe for now. Next is a nice drop and get the bumper painted.

looks good…did you do anything to the block and head?..and i actually dont mind the yellow but as long as you keep the moldings black

I put forged lowers in and the head was port and polished 3 angle valve job, with all new valvetrain, other than the cams. I got the head from http://www.dh-racing.com.

THAT SHIT LOOKS HOT
WHAT BLOW OFF VALVE ARE YOU USING??
AND HOW DOES IT SOUND??
WHAT TURBO MANI ARE YOU USING???

The blow off valve is a turbo XS, It sounds real good not too loud. The manifold is a Stainless eqaul length. It looks like the ss autochrome ones. Not the best, but it has 7 braces welded in, so I am not worried. I have talked with a few people with not one issue.

It’s fun, no WOT runs yet. I want to get the motor broken in before that, then to the dyno.

Looks good. I just finished mine yesterday. I couldn’t get in to get tuned till next week at elite though

hey what turbo are you using ? which A#R and whats your fuel management ? i just bought a kit from SS and i do know and red about what to do, their reputation and stuff. im looking for some t3#t4 .48 AR .bins for my uberdata chip.

got a pic of your pre-intercooler piping route? looks like a nice setup.

How did you fit the turbo in there with that manifold

how did you fit that with a full radiator?

yes i must agree its a nice professional looking job.
But to cut to chase hit us with some numbers…
hp goal…
turbo…
psi…
ect…

once again nice set-up

very nice

Using that manifold, did you have any problems with it hitting you crossmember with th turbo installed

My full setup is
Specs
Turbonetics T3\T4 turbo .63 60
Stainles equal length manifold
Turbonetics Evolution Wastegate 10psi
TurboXS BOV
24" bar & plate intercooler

magnecore wires
Fluidyne Radiator
B&M FPR
Exeddy Stage 2 clutch
Lightnend flywheel
DC Sport short throw
Brembo Drilled and slotted rotors
Axxis ceramic pads
Motegi MR7 gunmetal rims

ECUControl for datalogging and gauges

Next is a nice drop. I am thinking tokico illuminas and some h&r’s. Any recommendations let me have them.

I am estimating around 250 - 260 for now. Always start low and you won’t be dissapointed when you go to the dyno. I will bring it to the dyno in a week or two. I am still breaking it in. No WOT pulls yet.

This winter I think I am going to build up a block so I can throw more boost at it. I am already addicted.

The turbo exhaust housing is on the driver side so it let me keep my fluidyne, which I already had. Not giving that up. No issues with the crossmember with a 2.5 downpipe at all.

I will try to get some pics of everything tomorrow.

Hey kelso_69 I hear ya on the color. I love yellow on the G2. Your car NIIICE.

Any more questions hit me up t nick.ice@colder.com I am always willing to answer any, since everyone here helped me out on mine.

Nick

Here are the picks Marcus

This is from the intercooler going into the engine bay to meet my old CAI

Coming from turbo going to intercooler. The pipe size change there isn’t the best idea. I am going to change that soon.

After all is said and done, how much cash did you lay out? Was most of ur work done by yourself? Im considered ls-t myself, wanna know what i’m headin into financially.

Sweet setup, Gotta show the ricers how its done.

hey forum still no feedback! how is the setup running ?
