ok so i was looking to find the rod bearing sizes for each cylinder.i dont have a micrometer or any of those measuring tools. so i was on team-integra and found a chart to find the color size of each rod bearing. is it possible to have like 3 different colors or should all bearings be the same size?

yeah they can be different sizes this is why you use plasti gauge or the likes to see what you need for a bearing they will all wear differently depending on oil/any contamination etc just make sure you size each one correctly so they all equal out to the same spacing on the end result. for this kind of assembly def good to have at least a shop manual, if not i’d bring it to a shop they really won’t charge much for assembly if you supply all the parts. its really worth it to have it done correctly trial and error can get expensive lol
my machine shop measured and honed my mains. i left it up to them to let me know what bearings i needed. they told me i was fine with stock size. my clearances ended up being about 15 thou across the board IIRC when it came time to assemble.
yea actually they told me that you can use standard aftermarket bearings. the scale of those different honda bearings are so small i guess to make a difference. so im probably gonna go with acl. but i will have him measure to be sure lol
good to know. i recommend the ACL Race bearings. it’s said to better handle higher revving engines. they’re a tri-metal bearing similar to ones used in a type-r engine. i used them in my build. keep us updated.

Just fyi you should scrap those gears g. They are an accident waiting to happen. Get 5/6 bolt gears. I know it’s expensive and sucks but it will save you more in the future.

Ok so this weekend I’m gonna put on the acl race bearings so if anyone is or has used them gis there anything I should know about installation? Any specs?
And on another note I went to joanne’s fabic lol and picked up some material to redo my headliner. So Saturday ill put it on as long as this dam rain stops its been 3 days tomorrow and more to come ugh.
